He was reported missing on 30 August after leaving his home on Hymers Avenue without telling friends or family where he was going.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned as Brendon has some health issues which require treatment.

It's believed that he may be in the North Yorkshire area, officers say.

He's described as about 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build and with brown hair.

He was last seen wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a hoody and carrying a green rucksack.

  4. 'Keep your distance' warning around East Coast sealspublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 13 September 2017

Visitors to the Lincolnshire coast are being warned to take care around seals ahead of the grey seal breeding season.

The warning comes from Sea Life Centre experts who say people need to take extra care on the east coast which is home to 50% of the world's population of grey seals.

Thousands of people are drawn to see the seals at Donna Nook, between Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes, during the autumn breeding season.

Todd German, senior aquarist based at the Sea Life Centre in Scarborough, says there's already been a "high level of disturbance" to seals this summer and people should keep their distance - especially around new-born seals.

    Suzy Lawson
    BBC Local Live

Should we go back to our traditional county names?

The MP for Cleethorpes, Martin Vickers, says he wants the old county boundaries like Lincolnshire to be strengthened.

That could mean the end of North East Lincolnshire, which Mr Vickers says is "just an administrative unit":

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) said the approval followed a recent inspection which has enabled it to extend its hours of operation.

The charity said its two Airbus H145 helicopters would now respond to incidents from 06:00 to 00:00 on weekdays and to 22:00 on weekends.

Crews will use night-vision goggles during evening flights.

  7. Too many 'pushed' into temporary accommodation - Grimsby charitypublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 13 September 2017

More needs to be done to cut the £1bn-a-year cost of placing homeless people in temporary accommodation, a Grimsby charity says.

Figures from the National Audit Office suggest there's been a 60% increase in the number of households being placed in temporary homes over the past six years.

Andrew Hornsby, from YMCA Humber, which helps homeless people in Grimsby, says the findings are unsurprising:

  9. Health Secretary steps in over fate of East Yorkshire Minor Injuries Unitpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 13 September 2017

The proposed closure of Hornsea's Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) has been referred by the Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt to an independent review panel.

    Hornsea MIU

East Riding Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has previously said it had a "limited budget" and the move was aimed at improving services.

The proposed change would see patients travelling to Urgent Care Centres at Beverley, Bridlington and Goole or booking an appointment for "low level minor injuries" at units in Driffield and Withernsea.

The referral to the Independent Reconfiguration Panel was revealed by the Conservative MP for Beverley and Holderness, Graham Stuart.

Campaigners say they hope the panel will block the closure on the grounds it will deprive local residents of proper health cover.

If the CCG's move to close the unit is deemed to contradict its duty of care, the Independent Reconfiguration Panel could recommend that the Health Secretary overturns the closure decision.

    Caroline Brockelbank
    BBC Local Live

Police representatives from East Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire say the government's not gone far enough to improve public sector pay.

The government said yesterday that prison officers will be offered a 1.7% increase, and police will receive a 1% plus a bonus of the same amount.

But union leaders have described the move as "pathetic" and say it doesn't cover the rising cost of living.

Pete Musgrave, from the Humberside Police Federation, which represents rank-and-file police officers, says the government's ignoring expert advice and needs to do more:
