The first three photos to be chosen for next year's Lincolnshire Skies, external calendar have been revealed:

The calendar raises money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, with the photographs being submitted from around the county.

This year there were 130 entries, with a judging panel selecting the final 12 which will be in the calendar for 2018.

Health watchdogs found some improvements after inspection but said "there is still work to be done".

Drunks and drug users have been causing problems in Grimsby town centre for months, shop and cafe owners in the town have said.

They say it's worst in the Riverhead area of town by the bus station and the police and council are now promising direct action.

There are already Public Space Protection Orders in place in some parts of the town and police say they have issued 500 orders since they were introduced.

People in a North Lincolnshire village say they're furious they're the latest community to lose their cash machine to thieves.

The machine, at Broughton, near Brigg, was ripped from the wall of the local supermarket by thieves using a JCB at about 03:00 this morning.

They damaged bollards as well as the building then the digger was abandoned.

This afternoon, builders have been busy working to make the building safe:

In Broughton, people have told me how much they rely on the village's only cash machine.

Police say a dark car and a distinctive van with no roof were spotted near the scene.

They're appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

Former Hull City winger Robbie Brady has been cleared to play in the Republic of Ireland's World Cup play-off after Fifa decided to take no action over an alleged clash with Wales defender Ashley Williams.

The governing body launched an investigation after television pictures appeared to show Brady's head colliding with Williams' back during Monday night's qualifier victory in Cardiff.

Lincolnshire Police is to be the first force in the country to allow allow gun owners to register their firearms online.

It's estimated there are currently about 50,000 guns legally held by about 20,000 gun owners in Lincolnshire.

Police say they hope the new system, which is expected to be up and running next month, will significantly reduce the time it takes to apply for, or renew, a licence.

Things are looking pretty busy in the centre of Hull at the moment:

Have you seen a distinctive yellow Volkswagen Golf convertible, external which has been stolen in a burglary in Hull?

It has soft black roof and its registration number is JR02 85Y.

The car, as well as a laptop and a man's wristwatch, was stolen from a house on Glasgow Street last night.

Anyone with information about the theft is being asked to contact police.

East Yorkshire Conservative MP David Davis has been to meet workers at the BAE site in Brough, days after the company announced 400 job cuts at the site.

In total, 2,000 jobs will go across the company as part of a restructuring of the business under its new chief executive.

Mr Davis, whose constituency includes the Brough BAE site, said it was an "important opportunity" for him to hear from those directly affected at what he called "an uncertain time".

The MP said the government was working with BAE Systems to ensure compulsory redundancies are kept to a minimum and he was pleased that the firm had assured workers that job losses would be on a voluntary basis as far as possible:

Work has started to make safe the Co-Op building in Broughton, near Brigg, after thieves used a JCB digger to steal a cash machine from the wall overnight.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a dark coloured car and a white van with no roof were seen speeding away from the scene.

The digger used in the raid is believed to have been stolen from North Lincolnshire.

There are concerns over the future of a flock of geese who've lived in an East Yorkshire village for 20 year.

People living in Gilberdyke say the parish council want to relocate the geese from the village pond.

One villager says local residents aren't happy about the plan:

A JCB digger has been used to steal a cash machine from Broughton, near Brigg.

It was taken from the Co-Op supermarket on the High Street in the early hours of this morning.

The digger, which was stolen from North Lincolnshire tore a big hole in the side of the shop, before it was abandoned in a car park nearby.

A dark coloured car and a white van with the roof missing were seen speeding away from the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

The NHS trust which runs hospitals in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole is still failing - but improvements have been made, according to inspectors.

The health watchdog the Care Quality Commission (CQC) revisited hospitals run by the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals Trust in June, after it was put into special measures earlier this year.

Work is still needed to improve safety and management at Scunthorpe, external and Grimsby, external hospitals, but progress is being made, according to the CQC.

In a statement, external, Dr Peter Reading, the trust's chief executive, says he's "pleased" the CQC has recognised improvements but admits there is "a long journey ahead of us".

This year's Bridlington Old Town Christmas Dickensian festival has been cancelled.

Organisers say it's because of fears the volunteers could be prosecuted if there was an accident.

Bridlington Old Town Association says it hopes to revive the festival next year, with professional electricians installing lighting which is used to extensively used to illuminate the market stalls.

After a week of debate over the possibility of Yorkshire devolution, the Northern Powerhouse minister says a "One Yorkshire" deal isn't going to happen.

Both Hull City Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council have backed a deal for the full county, which would see more decisions made about things like transport funding made here rather than in London.

Along with 15 other yorkshire councils, Barnsley and Doncaster have also backed that plan after initially favouring a separate deal for South Yorkshire, but Rotherham, Sheffield and Wakefield don't support it.

Northern Powerhouse minister Jake Berry says because of that, a "One Yorkshire" deal isn't going to happen.
