    A 31-year-old man is being questioned.

    The signs will be up for six months, giving people plenty of chance to get the message, with the Tour de Yorkshire being promoted for the first three months.

    We all knew it, but now it's official...

    Hull's Old Town is one of the top ten hippest places to hangout in the country:

    TravelSupermarket has listed the city's historic quarter eighth in their UK Hip Hangout, external Guide.

    The Old Town has has an "astonishingly high number" of historical places, "all squirrelled away into one corner", the firm says.

    The government has agreed to carry out a full retrospective audit of how many women have had vaginal mesh implants in England.

    Campaigners say the mesh can cause painful complications.

    More than 800 women are taking legal action against the NHS and manufacturers.

    Humberside Police have released a photograph of James "Eddie" Fish, whose body was found in Waltham near Grimsby yesterday.

    The 80-year-old died following an incident at a property on Grimsby Road yesterday morning.

    A 28-year-old woman has been arrested and remains in custody.

    An investigation into his death continues.

    Det Ch Insp Stewart Miller says while officers are still trying to work out exactly what happened, they believe Mr Fish's death is an "isolated incident, with no risk to the wider public":

    In the Commons yesterday, Hull North MP Diana Johnson urged the government to get on with launching the independent inquiry into what went wrong.

    People living in part of Hull have begun hanging bin bags on fences to help deal with the area's litter problem.

    Residents on Bricknell Avenue say on-street bins rarely get emptied, with piles of rubbish and dog mess piled up next to them.

    The area smells and has a big rat problem, they add.

    In response, Hull City Council says: "Street bins around the city are emptied on a weekly schedule.

    "Bricknell Ward has also recently benefited from the installation of new larger bins through the ward budget."

    Anyone seeing an overflowing bin should report it to the council, it adds.
