    Two officers have been cleared of gross misconduct over the alleged unauthorised surveillance of the sister of a man who died in police custody in Hull in 1998.

    Officers spied on Janet Alder, the sister of Christopher Alder, during the inquest in to his death in 2000.

    The two officers have been cleared of gross misconduct at a hearing in Goole.

    The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts for the south bank of the Humber and Bridlington.

    The alert means flooding is possible and people should be prepared.

    The Environment Agency says that a high tide combined with stormy conditions could see some localised flooding on the South Humber Bank, along with over-topping of sea defences in Bridlington.
