    The trust says all diagnostics appointments, including X-rays, MRI, endoscopy and CT scans, are running as planned.

    If you put your bins out in North East Lincolnshire this morning, they won't be collected.

    The council says all waste collections have been suspended for the day due to the weather.

    It says the staff are working to clear footpaths instead.

    Around 120 properties in Brigg, North Lincolnshire are without power this morning.

    Northern Powergrid says it's because of problems with the cables or equipment that serves the area.

    It says its teams are working hard to restore power and they're hoping to have it back on by 11:45.

    All outpatient appointments at Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole Hospitals have been cancelled today.

    The hospitals trust says it has taken the decision to cancel appointments because of the poor conditions.

    East Riding of Yorkshire Council says it has been working around the clock to keep the roads clear.

    There is disruption on roads across the region this morning, following heavy snowfall.

    The council says gritting runs will continue through the day.

    Mike White, Head of Technical Services at East Riding of Yorkshire Council said:

    Most of East Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire is under a blanket of snow this morning and there is more heavy snow forecast.

    Temperatures are expected to stay below freezing throughout the day.

    Tonight there will be more heavy snow showers and blizzard conditions, with temperatures dropping to -4C.

    Plans to have an elected mayor for the whole of Yorkshire are being discussed in Westminster today.

    Council leaders from across the region are trying to convince the government it's a good idea.

    South Yorkshire is due to elect its own mayor later this year, with powers over things such as transport and planning.

    But most councils want one mayor for all of Yorkshire. Eighteen of the 22 council leaders have signed-up to the idea.

    Politics leaders from across Yorkshire are meeting the Communities secretary Sajid Javid, to try and convince him to sign an agreement for a future deal on devolved power.

    A 21-year-old woman has died following an incident at a house in the Orchard Park area of Hull.

    Humberside Police say they were called to the house on Milldane this morning, following reports the woman had suffered serious injuries.

    She died a short time later.

    A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

    Senior Investigating Officer, Det Ch Insp Mark Goulding said:

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, following an incident on Orchard Park in Hull.

    Humberside Police say a 21-year-old woman died at a property in Milldane this morning.

    A bridge in East Yorkshire which has been closed for four months because of safety concerns, is due to reopen to cars at the end of March.

    East Riding of Yorkshire Council says it has been carrying out checks on the bridge at Rawcliffe Bridge, over the Dutch River.

    It says measures will be put in place to make the bridge safe for cars to use, but it will remain closed to heavier vehicles for the time being.
