    A court has heard how a CCTV camera was moved to prevent it filming a violent attack near a shopping centre in Grimsby.

    Anthony Richardson, 45, died of his injuries in January after being attacked near the Freshney Place shopping centre.

    Marc Finnie, 44, and his wife Sarah, 36, both of Grimsby, each deny murder.

    A third defendant, Gary Clarke, who also works a security guard at the shopping centre, denies assisting the couple.

    The trial continues.

  2. Dog still missing after RSPCA raid on kennelspublished at 17:35 British Summer Time 14 May 2018

    A dog owner has told how his pet has been "missing" for more than two months since the RSPCA raided kennels in north Lincolnshire.

    The charity went into 4Paws Vets and Rescue Centre at Killingholme in March and took about 100 dogs as part of a "welfare investigation".

    Mr Hamilton said he had not been told whether his dog Wally is even alive, which he added was a "terrifying prospect".

    The RSPCA said all the dogs remain in the care of the police and the Dogs Trust.

    Four police officers were assaulted in two separate incidents in Scunthorpe over the weekend.

    One officer was bitten and left with facial injuries during an incident on Grosvenor Street North in the town on Sunday.

    Another three officers were injured as they tried to restrain a man on Teale Street on Saturday.

    Humberside Police said it wouldn't tolerate assaults on its' officers.

    Carers are being sought for children from babies upwards - and for children with disabilities.

    Prospective foster carers would ideally be over 25 and they can be single, married or co-habiting, the council says.

    Shannea's described as being around 4ft 6ins tall, of slim build and with short dark hair.

  18. Hundreds more foster carers neededpublished at 11:30 British Summer Time 14 May 2018

    More than 600 extra foster carers are needed to look after vulnerable children in the Yorkshire and Humber region, researchers have found.

    Five Rivers Child Care, external believes 610 more carers are needed across the region.

    It carried out a survey of 2,000 people to discover what prevents people applying to become carers.

    It found 60% were unaware that foster carers could be paid up to £25,000 a year.

    It also discovered 57% of those questioned were unaware that childless individuals or couples can foster.
