Hull Trains have defended services after figures revealed they're the worst rail company for punctuality in Great Britain.
The company admitted customers have been affected by "a number of unrelated operational incidents" was due to the performance of the company’s trains and other incidents such as "weather and trespass".
A spokesperson said statistics demonstrated "similar peaks and troughs in services across a number of train operating companies".
Hull Trains added it had "one of the strongest records of 100% daily service delivery" and that it was investing £60m in new trains.
There's been major disruption on the trains this afternoon after all services were suspended because of a police incident at Doncaster.
Trains are starting to move again but Northern and Hull Trains are experiencing delays of around an hour.
Virgin East Coast have also been affected.

Hull Trains, external has recorded its worst set of punctuality figures in more than ten years, it means it is the worst performing operator in Great Britain.
According to figures from the Office of Rail and Road, external, only two thirds of its services ran on time in the last four months.
Today Hull trains have again had to cancel or alter more than half of their services because one of their trains has broken down.

CCTV footage of the moments leading up to a homeless man being fatally attacked have been released by Humberside Police.
Anthony Richardson, 45, was assaulted outside a bank in Grimsby's Old Market Place on 15 January. He died in hospital the next day.
Marc Finnie, 44, carried out the revenge attack at the request of his security guard wife, Sarah Finnie, 36, who was upset about comments and gestures made towards her by Mr Richardson.
The pair, of Sutcliffe Avenue, Grimsby, have been jailed for manslaughter at Sheffield Crown Court.
There's concern for a missing teenager from Hull who's not been seen since Tuesday.
15-year-old Kaitlyn Davies called her mum at around 22:00 on Tuesday to say she was on the bus back from a friend's grandparent's house.
She never arrived at her home on Londesborough Street and hasn't been in touch since.
It's thought Kaitlyn could have caught the number 3 bus to Hull's bus station.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen her to get in touch.

The single-decker was found with the engine still running in a metre of water.

A specially adapted vessel (pictured) is being used to collect plastic litter from the Humber.
The plastic is then sent by port owners ABP to a factory and recycled into shampoo bottles.
The boat is being trialled in Hull and if successful all 21 ABP ports will use the vessel.
