    Nick Wilmshurst
    BBC Local Live, Leeds

If you head out into Leeds to do some shopping, you see loads of street performers trying to earn a few quid, especially this time of year.

But some buskers are street performers and others simply perform on the streets.

I spotted this guy in Leeds city centre earlier, he is amazing he's not even using a mic. Check out the video I took below, this guy needs a record contract:

    BBC Travel

If you're heading from West Yorkshire to Hull today, be warned that the A180 is closed after a series of accidents in the poor weather conditions this morning.

It includes this lorry carrying coal that's overturned. It looks like the road could be closed for a long time as I think it's going to take that one bloke with a shovel a long time to clear it.

Luckily the driver of the lorry only sustained minor injuries:

The council have announced the plans as part of the £270m "Leeds Transport Strategy" and they say that the plan will take cars off the road and improve air quality at the same time.

There'll also be a new park and ride site at Stourton, more buses on main routes, and new bus priority lanes on some major routes in and out of the city.

There's also a promise from the operator First Bus to bring in nearly 300 new low emission vehicles by 2020.
