A new campaign to tackle knife crime will be launched in South Yorkshire next week.
The force says people will notice an increased presence, although there will also be undercover operations taking place as well.
People who carry knives in the county are being urged to hand them in.
There will also be metal detectors outside pubs and clubs to catch those carrying weapons.
An education campaign will also take place with officers keen to bring down rising knife crime levels:
Quote MessageThere has been a rise in our county in offences involving knives and bladed weapons, as there has been across the entire country, however I want to make it very clear this is not going to be tolerated in our city, towns and villages in South Yorkshire"

No details of the gender and age of the person have been released and officers say they're still treating the death as unexplained.
Officers said there is no indication the residents at the property next to where the discovery was made are linked or connected in any way.

About 800 people have revealed what they thought of the West Street and Devonshire Green area of the city centre.
