Updates on breaking news will continue throughout the night.
Well, what a scorcher it has been today!
We thought we'd share some very nice sunny scenes with you from across Yorkshire today, starting off in Scarborough:
A 19-year-old man is in hospital after being pulled from a car and stabbed in Rotherham.
South Yorkshire police say they were called out to Wellgate in Rotherham at just after 19:00 on Wednesday.
They've been told a dark car pulled up, four men got out and went up to an Audi A3 containing two men.
The 19-year old driver of the Audi was pulled from the car, punched in the face and stabbed in the back.
One of the four attackers then smashed the Audi's windscreen before getting back into the dark car and drving off with his companions.
The teenage victim has been treated for his injuries in hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses.
A family dog whose owners feared she could have cancer because her stomach was swollen were relieved to discover it wasn't down to the disease at all.
No, the real culprit was the fact she had eaten FOUR teddy bears:
Eight-year-old St Bernard Maisy even went for a CT scan which showed a mass on her spleen, and naturally her owner Jane Dickinson, from Roberttown, near Dewsbury, was fearing the worst.
But when the vet carried out an operation to remove Maisy’s spleen, he found an array of soft toys in her stomach.
Maisy has since made a full recovery from her operation and she has shown no signs of cancer, she's now back at home.
Quote MessageI didn’t even recognise one of the toys – my brother also keeps chihuahuas and it turns out it belonged to his dog.”

A man has been left with a broken jaw after he was attacked on a train between Leeds and Sheffield.
It happened at about 22:15 on Saturday when a 20-year-old man was set upon by three other men in the corridor near a toilet.
The man was left with "serious facial injuries", including a broken jaw, which meant he had to go to hospital.
Police say they're looking for a white man in his 20s and a man of mixed race, with curly hair who was in his mid to late 20s.
Managers at Hull College say they are unaware of a vote of no confidence in chief executive Michelle Swinthenbank.
Today members of the University and Union College (UCU) are calling for Michelle Swithenbank to stand down.
The ongoing dispute is over plans to cut 231 posts.
However, the college group, which also runs sites in Harrogate and Goole, says they have not been informed of today's vote.
They also warn, having consulted lawyers, that staff who attended a protest yesterday about cuts could be in breach of contract if they attended the demonstration.
Quote MessageThe Hull College Group has received no correspondence from UCU suggesting a vote of no confidence in the Chief Executive Officer, should any such vote be received, the Corporation of the Group will gladly provide their response.”
