    Courtney Renwick was reported missing from Stanningley on Sunday.

    The 16-year-old was last seen wearing black leggings and a dark blue Adidas jacket with white Adidas trainers.

    Police say they think she might be in the Stanningley, Pudsey or Bramley areas.

    Anyone with information about Courtney's whereabouts is being asked to contact police.

    Officials are spending less time on patrols to prevent littering and dog fouling in the Dearne Valley, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

    The private company employed by councillors to patrol the area has issued fewer penalty notices in the last three months.

    The council was told the company assigned an officer to patrol for only 412 hours, rather than the 472 hours the company is contracted for.

    Council staff have now had a meeting with the company and have been told the shortfall in hours will be made up.

    A new project to help hoarders clear their homes and tackle the root causes of their hoarding has been launched in Sheffield.

    Amanda, from Sheffield, has been hoarding since she was a child due to anxiety and depression:

    The NHS estimates more than a million people in the UK have hoarding issues, with firefighters increasingly concerned about the role clutter can play in fatal fires.

    The Sheffield Mind, external Magpies project has been set up with £90,000 of funding from South Yorkshire Fire Service.

  7. Watch: Emley Moor transmitter work requires helicopterpublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 14 May 2018

    A helicopter is being used to build a temporary TV transmitter in Yorkshire.

    It is being built next to the 1,084ft (330m) Emley Moor tower as part of a five-year upgrade plan.

    The new structure will be 1,040ft (317m) and will be used to transmit TV signals while work is carried out on the existing transmitter.

    Built in 1971, the Emley Moor mast is the tallest free-standing structure in the UK:

    Six hedgehogs which were rescued from the grounds of Fountains Abbey, external and Studley Royal Water Garden have been nursed back to health.

    The hedgehogs were underweight, sick and in need of urgent care when they were found last summer,

    Jacqui and Peter Morrell, founders of Hedgehog Appreciation of Prickly Pals Yorkshire, external (HAPPY), with the help of Sharon Clayton, an ex-veterinary nurse, have looked after them for 11 months and have now released them back into the woods where they were found.

    Mini, pictured, was so small at 65g she fit in the palm of a hand but was released back into her natural habitat at a healthy weight of 781g.

    HAPPY is trying to remind people that hedgehogs seen out in daylight hours may look like they are enjoying the sun, but in reality are likely to have an underlying health condition and suffering with parasites and fleas.

    The council's been asking people to have their say on something called a public space protection order.

    If it's approved, it'll give the police and council powers to restrict the number of vehicles that can gather without proper permission.

    Several roads were closed following reports of speeding and cars performing stunts, earlier this year, but event organiser Ryan Linley, from the Static Royals car appreciation group, said it was unfair to target everyone over the actions of "a few idiots".

    Police are keen to trace a woman who approached members of the public in Bradford and told them she had been raped.

    The woman was on Morley Street in the city centre at about 00:12 when she went up to someone and told them she had been attacked.

    Police searched the area but could not find her.

    The woman was described as white, slim with brown hair and was wearing a black jacket and jeans.
