Millions for Yorkshire's vulnerable childrenpublished at 12:45 British Summer Time 22 August 2018
Millions of pounds is to be spent supporting children at risk of abuse and exploitation across Yorkshire.
The funding from the government will support communities in Rotherham, York, Bradford and North Yorkshire.
It's hoped the money will help social workers, police and nurses, better protect young people who might be vulnerable to exploitation from criminal gangs.
Home Office funding of £13m across the UK has been awarded to projects, which support vulnerable children by ensuring they have positive adult role models in their lives.
The money's coming from the government's Trusted Relationships Fund, a scheme which attempts to intervene early if a child is at risk of abusive predators or being drawn into criminality.
