The pupils from Fulford School were travelling in the York Pullman bus when the blowout happened, injuring the students.
In a statement, the operator says the pupils received medical attention and an investigation is under way.
A mobile operating theatre is due to be delivered to Goole Hospital this week to help reduce the pressure on the hospital over the winter months.
Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust say it will mean surgeons can carry out an extra 120 operations a month.
The temporary unit will be brought in on Thursday.
It will be placed next to the staff car park and will have a corridor to link it to the main hospital building.
It will be used for treating patients until May next year.

Hundreds of students at the University of York have had their lectures cancelled today after a problem with the water supply.
The university say many buildings across large parts of Campus West, which includes the library, are without water.
Portable toilets and bottled water are being brought onto the campus this afternoon for students.
The man was arrested on suspicion of arson after police received a report of a burglary.

The 43-year-old man was attacked last Sunday on Prince’s Street, outside the Iceland supermarket, at about 03:05.
Det Sgt Claire Moss, from South Yorkshire Police said: “The victim is still gravely ill in hospital, in a critical condition, and his family are in the process of travelling over from Lithuania to be with him."
“The altercation between the victim and another man happened near to a busy taxi rank."

Last year, Leeds-based Freedom4Girls was contacted by a school in the city when it became concerned about girls staying away during their periods.
Founder, Tina Leslie, said the charity was now giving tampons and towels to more than 20 schools in the city.
Sentimental items including swimming medals and a ring have been stolen from a house in East Yorkshire.
Among the items stolen from the house on Green Lane in Swine were two army swimming medals which date back to the 1960s, a weightlifting certificate and a blue stone ring.
Police say the theft happened between Sunday 28 September and Wednesday 10 October while the owners were away.
Humberside Police say the stolen items are distinctive and they are asking anyone who has seen them to get in touch.

British Gymnastics has announced that Brinn Bevan will take his place in the Great Britain squad for the event in Doha starting later this month.
Wilson, who has been troubled by injuries since winning bronze on the high bar in Rio two years ago, suffered his latest problem in training on the parallel bars on Friday.

Two men living in a tent in Hull have been attacked, leaving one with a fractured spine.
Four men assaulted the pair in their tent on grassland between Fountain Road and Stepney Lane, police say.
The victims were assaulted twice last Tuesday, once at about 02:30 then again at 05:00
One of the men suffered a fractured spine and a fractured arm, bruising and facial injuries. The other victim suffered bruised ribs and facial injuries.
Officers say they are looking for four men who spoke with either Russian or Lithuanian accents.
Three of the suspects have been described as having dark hair, while the fourth had blonde hair.
Police want anyone with information to contact them.
This Bradford man is wanted by police in North Yorkshire after he failed to go to court to face assault charges.
Darren Critchley was due to attend Skipton Magistrates’ Court on 13 April 2018.
The 51-year-old, of Alexandra Road in Eccleshill, was due to face a series of charges including assault, shoplifting and driving without a licence and insurance.
The court issued a warrant for his arrest and police have been trying to find him in the Bradford area where they think he still lives.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is being asked to contact police.
A man and woman from Sheffield have appeared in court charged with the murder of a 53-year-old woman in a seaside bar fight in Lincolnshire earlier this year.
Caroline Fisher (pictured), 53, from Eastwood in Nottinghamshire, died on 21 July after a fight outside Buzz Bar in Ingoldmells the day before.
Leon Wadsworth, 31, of Milnrow Road, Sheffield, and Hayley Fletcher, 31, of Paper Mill Road, Sheffield, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court charged with murder.
Mr Wadsworth also faces a second linked charge of assault causing actual bodily harm to a man on 20 July 2018.
Both defendants were remanded in custody and are due to appear before Lincoln Crown Court later today.
Police in Withernsea say a house has been badly damaged by people who were growing cannabis inside it.
The growers had smashed through walls and draped electrical cables across the ceiling so they could grow the drug.
An officer involved in the raid on the house said: "Unbelievable amount of damage caused to a lovely building by those involved in the production of cannabis."

North Yorkshire Police have been trying to trace Raymond David Braithwaite, from Harrogate, for more than two weeks.
Magistrates issued a warrant for the 42-year-old's arrest after he allegedly breached the terms of a community order.
Police believe he has connections to Nottinghamshire.

It happened at about 15:20 on Saturday as the girl walked along a footpath between Sowerby Road and Topcliffe Road.
The suspect is described as white, aged in his 30s, with medium length dark brown or black hair and a thick dark brown or black beard.
Det Con Adam Scott said: "This is a very concerning incident so I am asking anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact the police."
A 70-year-old woman has been left with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Wakefield.
She was at a crossing on Thornes Lane, in Wakefield, at about 17:20 when she was hit by a Renault Scenic.
The driver stopped at the scene.
Police said the woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
