    These are the latest pictures of a coach fire on the M62 near Rishworth Moor earlier today:

    Fire crews were called at 10:30 and found a coach on fire on the hard shoulder between junctions 22 and 23 eastbound.

    The driver was the only person on board and escaped without injury.

    One lane and the hard shoulder was closed while the fire was put out.

    The emergency services left just before noon.

    The Highways Agency is due to remove the wreckage later.

  3. Man robbed at gunpoint in Sheffield suburbpublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2018

    Police cordons have been lifted on a Sheffield street following an earlier incident which saw a man robbed by a handgun-wielding assailant.

    It happened at about 06:45 this morning on Ellesmere Road in Burngreave.

    The 20-year-old victim was robbed but suffered minor injuries, according to South Yorkshire Police.

    It's not clear whether any shots were fired and the victim's injuries aren't from a gunshot, police add.

    The road has now been reopened after being closed for several hours following the incident.

  4. Climate protest closes major route in Yorkpublished at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2018

    A "small group" of protesters closed York's Ouse Bridge for a time this morning, according to North Yorkshire Police.

    Campaigners from a group called Extinction Rebellion said they wanted to highlight what they described as a lack of action over climate change.

    Police say protesters have now moved on and the bridge has reopened, with traffic flowing again.

  5. Doncaster wire damage sparks East Coast rail delayspublished at 12:40 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2018

    Rail services on the East Coast Mainline are currently being cancelled or delayed, with passengers stuck on trains after overhead wires were damaged near Doncaster station.

    It's thought services will struggle until about 14:00 today, with one passenger telling us they'd been sat on a train not moving for 90 minutes.

    Rail replacement buses are running on some services, with ticket acceptance operating on CrossCountry and LNER.

    There are currently queues on the M62 after a stretch of the motorway through East Yorkshire was shut due to a police incident.

    The motorway has been closed on the westbound approach to junction 37, which is the turn-off for the A63 at Howden.

    Police say it's unclear when the road will reopen and diversions are currently being set up.

    A woman has died following a fire at her home in Halifax.

    Fire crews from Halifax, Illingworth and Raistrick were called to a property in Stansfield Close, near Halifax town centre, at about 20:25 yesterday.

    A woman in her 70s was rescued from a bedroom and given medical attention at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later, the fire service says.

    Police, who were also called, say they're not treating the death as suspicious, but a fire investigation team is looking into the cause of the blaze.

    This is living legend and Hull charity fundraiser extraordinaire Jean Bishop, otherwise known as "The Bee Lady" catching a glimpse of new charity t-shirts celebrating her life and work:

    Mrs Bishop has become famous around the city for collecting money dressed in a giant bee costume.

    All proceeds from the t-shirts, which feature a picture of Mrs Bishop wearing her "Bee Lady" costume, will go to the charities Age UK and Oscars Chance.

    The artist known as Friends on Every Street made the T-shirt and says Mrs Bishop was "genuinely made up" with the fundraising effort.

    One lane and the hard shoulder of the M62 eastbound in West Yorkshire between junction 22 and 23 are currently closed after a coach burst into flames.

    Crews from Huddersfield and Raistrick were called at about 10:30 to help colleagues from Rochdale tackle the blaze.

    No-one is believed to have been injured, but delays are expected.

    A road above Scarborough Spa has been closed after cracks appeared - and it can't be resurfaced and reopened until work to stabilise a nearby cliff has finished.

    The Esplanade has been shut to traffic after the emergence of cracks, the latest of a series to appear in the South Cliff area.

    Cars won't be able to use a stretch of road between Prince of Wales Terrace and Albion Road, although pedestrian access to properties is not affected, according to North Yorkshire County Council.

    The council said: "We are continuing to monitor the road but will not look at any remedial resurfacing until the cliff stabilisation work moves away from the immediate vicinity."

    Last month, a contractor was appointed to demolish historic chalets which were damaged during a landslip in the area.

    I'm at the junction of Ellesmere Road and Gower Street in Burngreave, Sheffield, where police cordons are in place around a row of stores following an earlier incident.

    There's a Crime Scene Investigation van and another couple of police vehicles at either end of the street.

    There are also lots of officers and police tape around these stores, together with a CSI officer on his knees.

    He looks as though he's photographing something on the ground close to the entrance of the Post Office.

    I've spoken to a few people in the area and they tell me they don't know what's happened.

    A woman has been left with serious injuries after she was hit by a car as she tried to cross a road in Halifax.

    Police say the pensioner was crossing near Newlands Grove, Northowram, at about 16:21 yesterday when she was hit by a red Vauxhall Astra.

    Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.

    Nathan Harnett, 11, from Leeds, who was the subject of a missing persons appeal has been found safe and well, say police.

    He was reported missing by his family late last night.

    Brendan Ingle Way is the new name of Tansley Street, which runs down the side of the Ingle Boxing Gym.

    A woman has died after being found in a pond in a Grimethorpe park, police say.

    The woman was pulled from the water by officers yesterday morning.

    They tried to resuscitate her, but she was declared dead at hospital.

    It happened in Red City Park off Dell Avenue.

    Police officers are trying to find out how the woman ended up in the water.
