Firefighters have warned people in South Yorkshire not to try to dry their towels in a microwave oven after attending a fire at a Sheffield house.
Three South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crews were called out at about 10:20 on Saturday to reports of a fire in the kitchen of a house on Eyam Road in Crookes.
A damp towel had been placed in a microwave to dry and the occupant had returned to the kitchen and found the microwave on fire and the room filled with smoke.
Nobody was seriously hurt in the incident, the fire service said.
The fire service says this incident serves as a reminder never to place items in microwave ovens unless specified on the item's instructions.
Police in West Yorkshire are urging so-called "paedophile hunters" not to confront suspected child abusers.
It comes after five people were arrested on Monday on suspicion of falsely imprisoning members of the public.
The arrests relate to alleged offences in Wakefield on 11 August last year and in Leeds on 13 January this year in which members of the public are believed to have been detained.
A total of three men and two women were arrested in Leeds yesterday, according to police.
The five people arrested have been released on bail and inquiries are continuing, police say.
West Yorkshire Police says it's concerned about the activities of "online child abuse activist groups and their exposure activity".
"Protecting children from abuse is a top priority for West Yorkshire Police," the force says, and anyone with concerns about child abuse should report their worries to officers.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service is asking any motorists looking to scrap their vehicle to contact Harrogate's fire station so it can be put to "good use".
"Fire crews need to continually practice rescue techniques on a variety of vehicles, to help them maintain their skills," according to the fire service.
"Vehicles will be disposed of at an authorised scrap dealer."

There'll be mist and fog early on, but this should lift to leave a mainly dry morning with some sunshine, although there will be cloud which could thicken.
This afternoon will be mostly cloudy and it will be increasingly breezy with spells of rain which will continue into the evening.
These should clear to leave a dry and chilly night, with long clear spells and brisk winds which will become lighter after midnight:
A woman from South Yorkshire has started a campaign for women to be offered mammograms from a younger age than at present.
Currently, women are offered NHS breast screening from the age of 50.
But Susan Grimshaw, 46, from Barnsley, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, has now started a petition to lower the screening age to 30.
She says: "Sometimes it's harder to pick up a breast bump if it's not visible. Since I found out about my own diagnosis, I've been researching it and five per cent of women 39 and under are diagnosed with breast cancer every year."

The 21-year-old was last seen in the city on Thursday night, with a search launched the following day.

Hang Zhang, 27, pulled down the shorts of a female student, a court heard.
The Chinese national, of Hawley Street, Sheffield, had previously been arrested for carrying a knife near Buckingham Palace in 2016 and was subsequently sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Judge Jeremy Richardson QC ordered Zhang be detained at a secure hospital.
Zhang appeared at Sheffield Crown Court over the sexual assault he admitted committing on the Chinese student at the University of Sheffield in October.
Judge Richardson said both incidents were "bizarre" and he was sure that Zhang was suffering from a complex mental disorder - almost certainly bipolar affective disorder.
The judge said: "It is important, given your history, and in particular the episode at the palace, that the Secretary of State is made aware of your case.
"I have every suspicion that, in due course, you will be removed from the country and returned to the People's Republic of China."
An MP urges the Home Secretary to look at the case of Joanna Banks, who has always lived in Britain.
