Opponents of a proposed new prison in East Yorkshire say the new jail will be far too big for the local area to cope with.
The Ministry of Justice wants to build a jail capable of housing 1,400 lower risk "Category C" inmates next to the existing Full Sutton high security prison to create new, modern prison places.
But Colin Clarke, who is organising a demonstration in Stamford Bridge tomorrow, says the village will be "completely dominated" by the new prison.
Mr Clarke says: "It's an attractive area and it doesn't want to be dominated by four-storey blocks - 'H'-block prisons - which are 14m high.
"They could find a lot better location that's more suitable for visitors and for staff going to work and back."
