This will be the first use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology to support road bike policing in the county, according to the West Yorkshire force.
Drone flights in hot-spot areas are due to begin in the next fortnight.

People in Wakefield will see their council tax bill rise by just under 4% from April.
The 3.99% rise follows the council passing a new budget for the coming financial year, which includes the introduction of Sunday parking charges and big changes to bin collections.

Council leader Peter Box said: "Our robust and effective financial management has enabled us to deliver a balanced budget through years of austerity, but once again we are forced to make some tough decisions."

Independent business owners attending Hull's Street Food Nights have been told they can't sell alcohol.
Unhappy traders claim it's because a new sponsor for the event wants exclusive use selling alcohol from their own bar.
The evenings have proved to be one of the successes of City of Culture and it's returning in April.
One trader, Eve Clark, says independent traders are the reason the nights have been so popular.
"This Hull street food festival has been successful because of all the independent street food traders who come from Hull and the surrounding areas", she said.
"It's not because of the big names who have now all of a sudden taken domination of the event."
Organiser Hull Business Improvement District (BID) has said it's been done to stop the event "becoming a beer festival".
"We took the call to only have one bar in the area because there are a mass of bars around us that will also get the bite of the cherry", Kathrine Shillito from Hull BID told BBC Radio Humberside.
"There's also the indoor market that has a license so they sell alcohol and if we put more bars in that small square we would have had a beer festival."
