A highly anticipated scheme to develop Bradford's former Odeon cinema into a music venue has been given planning permission.
The building, which has been empty for almost 20 years, will be converted into a 3,800-capacity live music space.
Bradford Live, a collective operated by the NEC group, aims to hold 200 events per year at the location.
Roger Marsh OBE, from LEP, who partly-funded the project said: "This venue, situated at the heart of the city, will become another iconic string to our City Region's outstanding cultural bow.
"The positive economic benefits it promises will be welcomed by everyone", he added.
If planned works go ahead, the new venue will be open in Autumn 2020.
Counterfeit vodka currently on sale in South Yorkshire could cause those drinking it to become seriously ill, according to police officers who have seized a bottle in Doncaster.
Officers from Trading Standards had found the fake alcohol at licensed premises in the borough, according to police.
The fake "Chekov" bottle contains propan-2-ol which could cause respiratory failure if a lot is drunk, police add.
Drivers who rev their engines or make sexual suggestions will also be fined under the new Bradford scheme.

A knife-wielding robber who held up stores in Wakefield has been jailed for more than seven years.
Musa Tangigora, 18, of Trinity Street in Wakefield, and two other suspects armed with a knife and hammer, targeted a shop on Flanshaw in November 2018, Leeds Crown Court was told.
Two employees were injured in the incident.
Tangigora was also jailed for threatening staff and stealing cash from a business on Flanshaw in December last year.
He will be sent to a young offenders' institution for a total of seven years and 10 months.

The Police and Crime Commissioners from South and West Yorkshire and Humberside have signed a letter warning the system for dealing with young people who are excluded from school is contributing to the knife crime problem.
The letter, addressed to the Prime Minister, is calling for pupil exclusions to be more tightly regulated.
"The practice of off-rolling must be outlawed", the letter said.
Some schools have been accused of off-rolling, which is removing difficult-to-teach pupils from registers to boost their average exam results.

Sheffield Council has agreed its budget for the next financial year, with the council calling it "the toughest it has ever set".
Full council agreed a budget for 2019-20 which will see a council tax rise of 2.99%.
Band A properties will see an increase of 58p per week, a rise from £1,009 a year to £1,039.
Deputy council leader Olivia Blake said the authority faced arguably the most difficult financial circumstances it had ever faced as austerity had meant £460m cuts over the past nine years.
"We all know that the impact on all public services has been huge, but local councils have faced the deepest and most sustained cuts," she said.

The news of his death yesterday comes as northern bishops gather for a Diocesan mission in Liverpool.
The current Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, has paid tribute to his predecessor saying: "As a hugely distinguished scientist, theologian and philosopher, Archbishop Habgood’s faith in Christ gave him a particular perspective and a persuasive witness both to church and nation for his time.
"His many books simplified big and complex questions, revealing an incredibly perceptive intellect.
"His towering presence, physical, intellectual, and spiritual, was a gift to all who knew him."
A man arrested in connection with the disappearance of Hull student Libby Squire has appeared in court after being charged with seven further unrelated offences.
Pawel Relowicz, of Raglan Street, Hull, appeared in court last month accused of voyeurism, outraging public decency and burglary. He was remanded in custody.
Today he appeared again at Hull Magistrates' Court accused of two counts of burglary, two counts of voyeurism, two counts of outraging public decency and one of receiving stolen goods.
The offences were said to have been committed between 2017 and 2019.
The 24-year-old is due to appear at Hull Crown Court on Monday.
