Paul Scriven, Ecclesall councillor and Baron Scriven of Hunter's Bar, will not be seeking re-election to Sheffield Council when his term comes to an end in May.

He's spent a total of 15 years as a councillor, narrowly missed out on a Parliamentary seat and has repeatedly called for the House of Lords to be abolished, despite being a life peer.

The demands of splitting his time between Sheffield and London have become too much but Baron Scriven, originally from Huddersfield, says leaving the council will be a wrench.

"My passion and the fire in my belly is local government and particularly in this city because I absolutely love Sheffield and I will be leaving in a wooden box", he said.

"I need to do one job well, give it time and give the electorate the attention they deserve."

It's a well-known fact that women take longer in public toilets than men. It's partly because it is more than just a place to use the loo - it is often where women chat, bond, fix their make-up and their problems.

Samantha Jagger has been documenting these candid moments between friends and strangers for almost 10 years.

Instead of staging "Insta-perfect" shots, she uses a battered 35mm point-and-shoot camera small enough to fit in her handbag.

Samantha, who is originally from York and now lives in Manchester, said she likes the medium of film because it's "raw".
