    No-one was hurt in the incident at about 17:00 on Friday 22 February and the man rode off on a bicycle in the direction of Parliament Street.

    The cuddly toys were knitted by Women’s Institute groups and churches across the town.

    South Yorkshire Police say they will mainly be given to children caught up in crashes to "distract" them and give them "something to focus on in difficult situations".

    Sgt Mark Bradey said: “These teddies travel with our roads policing officers and we give them out to children who might be scared, upset or frightened."

    The 15-year-old was stabbed in the shoulder at Beckfoot Thornton School in Leaventhorpe Lane just before 11:35.

    His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and West Yorkshire Police say a male of a similar age has been arrested and a knife was recovered from the scene.

    The Iraqi national is wanted after a report was made to a police force in 2013.

    Officers said despite their efforts, Mr Hamarouf still hasn't been found.

    More than 100 forecourts designed to charge electric cars are being built across the country and East Yorkshire will be among the first to get one.

    The forecourt in Bilton, near Hull, will have 24 bays allowing drivers to charge their vehicles in less than 30 minutes.

    Toddington Harper,chief executive of Gridserve the company behind the plans, said he wants to make "using an electric vehicle as straight forward as using a petrol station".

    These artist's impressions show the new visitor centre which will be built at Hull Minster after it received a £3.9m grant.

    The computer generated images show the extension, which will have exhibition spaces, a cafe and other visitor facilities.

    It will be built using funding from Highways England.

    Two teenagers have been seriously injured in a fight between two groups of youths in a park in Leeds.

    It happened in Potternewton Park in Chapeltown yesterday evening at about 20:00.

    A 16-year-old male received a serious stab wound to his arm and a 17-year-old male suffered a head injury, police say.

    Both are being treated in hospital for their injuries, which are not considered to be life-threatening.

    Officers say both youths have also been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm in relation to the incident.

    Part of the park is currently cordoned off while a forensic examination is carried out.

    Det Insp Al Burns said: "We believe there's been a fight between two groups of youths in the park, during which the two have received serious injuries."

    Anyone who witnessed anything in the area around the time is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.
