Snooker: Beating O'Sullivan 'biggest upset in Crucible history'published at 13:59 British Summer Time 23 April 2019
Knocking Ronnie O'Sullivan out in the first round of the world snooker championship in his debut will go down as the "biggest upset in Crucible history", says James Cahill's coach.
Twenty-three-year-old Cahill from Blackpool - the first amateur to qualify for the Crucible - held his nerve to see off the five times world champion 10-8.
His excited coach Chris Henry who is originally from Whalley, Lancashire but now based in Belgium said his player handled the pressure “incredibly well”.
“His win is incredible," adding it was an "impressive debut".
