Nick Goodson, from Chapeltown, raised £10,000 for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice with his one-man marathon around the streets of Sheffield after he was told he'd not filled in the right forms for the London Marathon.
It was a "gruelling five hours" for Nick who admits he didn't pick the best route with the final five miles all up hill.
The marathon man said: "It was tough but I got it done."

Police investigating a "hit-and-run" crash in which two people were injured have released dash-cam footage of the incident.
The collision happened at about 10:45 today when a black Vauxhall Vectra hit a red Ford Ka on Eckington Way in Sheffield.
South Yorkshire Police said the driver of the Ford, a 79-year-old man, suffered shoulder and chest injuries, while the passenger, a 77-year-old woman, sustained a head injury.
The force said the driver of the Vauxhall failed to stop after the collision and has appealed for help to trace the vehicle.
A notorious criminal who murdered a father-of-three by driving a car into him has been jailed for at least 26 years.
The pair were hit by a Kia Sedona being driven by Bradford criminal Mohammed Nisar Khan, 41, of Holme Lane, Tong - known as "Meggy".
Tony Grant, 39, of Queens Road, Bradford, who was in the car with Khan, was also found guilty of murder and two counts conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall described the attack as "ruthless and barbaric".
Mr Iqbal, from Bradford, died from his injuries in hospital, but his friend, Adnan Ahmed, was not badly hurt in the crash.
Khan and Grant were both given life sentences, with minimum terms of 26 and 17 years respectively.
A 77-year-old man is to be charged with manslaughter over the death of a six-year-old boy who was shot in the abdomen with a pellet gun.
Albert Grannon has been summonsed to appear at Hull Magistrates Court on Thursday accused of manslaughter in connection with the death of Stanley Metcalf in July 2018.
He is also due to appear accused of possession of a firearm without a certificate.
A photograph of a police officer who accidentally splashed his face with DNA spray has been shared online to warn offenders how easy it is to spot them once they've been sprayed.
Humberside Police posted the image on Twitter showing the officer's face glowing underneath an ultraviolet light.
The force uses the spray to tag bikes and riders as part of its Operation Yellowfin crackdown on motorcycle crime.

The outdoor teams at Nostell Priory near Wakefield have clearly been putting wheels into motion ahead of the Tour de Yorkshire:
A huge bicycle has been marked on the lawns outside the 18th Century house.
Stage Two of the men's race, which takes place on Friday, will see riders entering the Wakefield district at Ryhill and Havercroft and travel towards Nostell Priory, before heading along the B6428 into Purston Jaglin.

Bingo nights are being repeatedly plagued by a "rotten" mystery singer taking over the PA system at a club.
Players were shocked to hear a "screeching" interruption at Darfield Community Centre, Barnsley, in March, and the unknown crooner has since struck six more times.
Christine and David Baker, who run the night, said bingo callers are regularly forced to abandon their wireless microphones.

A 60-year-old woman who died in Barnsley last week has been named by police.
The body of Deborah Jane Neale was found at her home in Barnsley Road, Cudworth, at about 23:15 on Friday, 19 April.
A post-mortem examination carried out following her death proved inconclusive and further tests to determine how she died are underway.
South Yorkshire Police want to hear from anyone who saw Miss Neale on the day her body was found, so they can establish where she had been, what she had been doing and who she was with.
Comedians Lucy Beaumont and Jon Richardson have announced they will stage a comedy gala in Hull to raise money to help feed children during the school holidays.
The couple are putting on the show at Hull New Theatre in June in aid of the Backpack Buddies scheme, organised by the FareShare charity.
Hull-born Ms Beaumont said: "Some families just need a little bit of help for a few months, something might have happened that means they're having to make a decision between eating and paying rent."
A man charged with the abduction of a 12-year-old girl in Leeds has appeared in court.
The girl was walking along Old Run Road on 23 April when she was approached by a man who grabbed her, but she managed to escape.
Mr Sehannie was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 29 May.

Three extra policing teams will work five days a week to tackle knife crime across South Yorkshire.
The teams - made up of three sergeants and 21 constables - will be funded using £2m of government money.
Chancellor Philip Hammond announced in his Spring Statement an extra £100m would be split between seven forces to help tackle a knife crime "epidemic" in England and Wales.
Chief Constable Stephen Watson said the extra teams would be in addition to the 35-strong team working on the force's Operation Fortify.
Funding will also help an intelligence cell analyse data from accident and emergency and the ambulance service to get a better sense of where violence is happening.
Cycling superstar Chris Froome has helped launch the new Team INEOS kit in North Yorkshire.
The four-time Tour de France champion was in Linton-in-Craven ahead of the four day Tour de Yorkshire, which starts tomorrow.
The red and black kit was unveiled at the official launch of Team INEOS, the new sponsor of Team Sky.
