Three people have been arrested in North Yorkshire in a crackdown on so-called county lines drug dealing, police say.
County lines is the term given to the use of young people to traffic drugs into rural areas.
Officers say they spotted suspicious activity in a car park in the Jennyfields area of Harrogate on Saturday.
A 30-year-old woman from Harrogate was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply after police found a wrap of suspected heroin the woman threw away as officers approached her.
Further suspected heroin and crack cocaine was found during a search of the woman when she arrived in custody, police say.
Officers then searched a property in the town and found wraps of suspected class A drugs which led to the arrests of two men.
One man, aged 42 and from Harrogate, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Another man, aged 22 and from the Bradford area, was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
All three have been released while under investigation.
