More than eight miles of grass verges have been planted with both native and non-native flowers and the association say the scheme, which has saved the council £25,000 on grass mowing and maintenance, is a real boost for bees and other pollinators.

A Bradford couple say they are "desperate" for answers from a Halifax hospital after the death of their newborn baby.
Paul Swain and Yvette Crook's son, Jacob, died at Calderdale Royal infirmary last April, five hours after he was born.
A report carried out by the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust highlighted a number of failings.
It states “the root cause was found to have been the failure to monitor him during labour.”
The couple have now instructed medical negligence lawyers to carry out an investigation into what happened.
Mr Swain said: “It’s deeply upsetting to know Jacob died following the failings of the hospital, and Yvette and I don’t think it is too much to ask to be given some answers."
Medical negligence lawyer Lauren Bullock, said: “Yvette and Paul are both trying to come to terms with what happened, but it's difficult for them as there are still so many unanswered questions as to what went wrong.
The Trust’s Chief Nurse, Jackie Murphy, said: “The loss of a baby is always a very, very sad occasion and the Trust extends its sympathies to the family.
"The Trust cannot comment on individual cases due to patient confidentiality but is cooperating fully with the Coroner’s investigation.”
One of the main entrance's from Hull's Paragon Interchange will close today as part of a three-month trial to try and reduce anti-social behaviour.

History will be made later in York when play starts in the city's first Yorkshire County Cricket match for more than a century.
It's happening at Clifton cricket club, where the White Rose will take on Warwickshire in the the four-day game.
The club's put up temporary stands and a marquee on the rugby pitch to welcome up to 5,000 fans.
The game which would usually be played at Headingley has been moved to York so the Leeds ground can be prepared for England's match against Sri Lanka on Friday.
Yorkshire will be hoping that history repeats itself this week.
In June 1890 the side beat Kent in two days to win by eight wickets at the old ground on York's Wigginton Road, which is now a field next to a railway crossing.

The first reported offence was committed in North Street, between 01:25 and 02:00 on Thursday, June 6.
Officers say a 27-year-old woman was targeted when she returned to a flat in the city centre and was approached by the suspect and sexually assaulted.
The second alleged assault happened in North West Road, between 04:45 and 05:00 the same day, when a 19-year-old woman was targeted as she walked home from a night out.
West Yorkshire Police is linking the same suspect to a further three incidents where women were followed.
In one of them a woman being followed in Meadow Lane was chased across the car park of Asda House but was able to get away.
Det Insp James Entwistle said: “One of the women he followed took pictures of him and he is clearly identifiable to anyone who knows him.
“I'd like to hear from anyone who recognises him or who has seen him in the vicinity of any of these incidents."

A Yorkshire council has delayed the expansion of a controversial scheme which sees green recycling bins confiscated if they contain non-renewable waste.
Kirklees Council started the policy in West Yorkshire in April and has seized more than 1,300 bins in the south of the borough.
It's led to confrontations between staff and residents, including an incident where a warning sticker from a bin was stuck on a worker's head.
Plans to introduce the scheme in North Kirklees have now been delayed.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, other altercations between home owners and council refuse staff included a bin wagon being blockaded by locals who demanded workers empty bins left behind on a previous collection.
Labour councillor Naheed Mather said the authority was "taking stock".
The scheme was due to have been introduced in May.

A West Yorkshire charity supporting transgender children and young people has issued an apology after thousands of emails were made public online.
Leeds-based Mermaids UK said it was "deeply sorry" for what it called a "historical data breach" after it was first reported by the Sunday Times, external.
The paper claims the correspondence included "intimate details," names and addresses, but the charity denies this.
The charity said it had taken immediate action and reported the breach.
An official statement, external on the Mermaids UK website claims the emails were from 2016 and 2017, and that they were searchable only "if certain precise search-terms were used".
A spokesperson for the charity told the BBC the emails were shared to a private group on a private messaging platform.
They insisted that the 1,100 emails were between executives and trustees of the charity, discussing matters relating to their work.
The Times, however, reported the emails contained "intimate details of the vulnerable youngsters it seeks to help".
A second person has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a man who was hit by a tram in Sheffield.
Martin Rigg, 37, was struck on 22 May near Convent Walk on West Street and died in hospital four days later.
Police said a 24-year-old man was arrested on Friday. He has been released on bail.
A 26-year-old man from the Shiregreen area of Sheffield was arrested on suspicion of murder last month.
