Jerry Appicella's body was found inside a property on Craganour Place in Denaby on 15 December, after police were called about concerns for his welfare.

It's thought Mr Appicella had been involved in an altercation with a group of people on Tuesday 3 December in an alleyway leading to Hickleton Street, in Denaby Main, prior to his death.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died as a result of head injuries.

The boy, who cannot be named due to his age, was charged with murder on Sunday.

He has been remanded into police custody and is due before Doncaster Youth Court today.

The two men charged with murder have been named by police as 19-year-old Shae Nicholson, of Lincoln Close, Denaby Main, and 23-year-old Martel Brown, of no fixed abode.
