Read MoreTourism organisation Welcome to Yorkshire has announced all its future board meetings will be held in public.
Peter Box, (above centre) who took over as chair of the organisation in the wake of Sir Gary Verity's resignation, said he hoped the move would "increase accountability and transparency".
Sir Gary resigned in March 2019 on health grounds, but later faced complaints about his behaviour and expenses.
Two independent reports commissioned into the management of the agency said expenses claims were made without receipts and staff felt unable to speak out about bad behaviour.
Mr Box said: "As I promised when I became Chair, it has now been approved that our future Board meetings will take place in public to increase accountability and transparency.
"I also want to make sure we get out and meet both members and the public more often; so we are planning roadshow-style Board meetings in all four corners of the county so that people can air their views and make sure their thoughts and ideas are heard."

Bradford-based supermarket giant Morrisons has said it will create 7,000 new jobs as part of a restructuring process that will see about 3,000 managerial roles axed.
The supermarket chain says the new jobs will be in customer-facing roles, such as more butchers, bakers, fishmongers, the supermarket said.
Managers will be able to move to the new jobs, with the firm saying there will be roles "for everybody who wants to continue to work at Morrisons".
David Lepley, Morrisons group retail director, said: "While there will be a short period of uncertainty for some managers affected by these proposals we will be supporting them through this process.
"There will also be more roles with greater flexibility that are very attractive to colleagues with families."
The company says those in managerial jobs who want to remain working at Morrisons can stay, however, their new offer would be at the front line salary level.

Plans to build a motorway service station on ancient woodland in South Yorkshire have been withdrawn, according to campaigners opposed to the development.
Developers Extra wanted to build a £45m service station at Smithy Wood, near junction 35 of the M1 between Thorpe Hesley and Chapeltown.
However, the Woodland Trust, which had campaigned against the plans, says the application has been withdrawn.
Lead campaigner Jack Taylor said: "We are delighted the application has been withdrawn after six years of dogged determination and campaigning by the Trust and the local community.
"Smithy Wood is - for now at least - safe from development and will continue to provide a rich habitat for ancient woodland flowers, birds and mammals."
Extra has confirmed it has withdrawn its planning application "having decided not to proceed with this project".
It added it did not want to make any further comment.
