Four men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was found stabbed near Lincoln, police say.

A 32-year-old man was discovered with serious knife wounds after officers were called to reports of a car being stolen from a property on Knowles Way in Bardney at about 21:00 on Saturday.

The victim is currently in hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, according to Lincolnshire Police.

The arrested men, aged between 26 and 35, are being held in police custody

Officers are searching for the stolen vehicle, a blue Audi S4, registration YY67 XDA.

Anyone with information about the incident, or who has seen the car, is being asked to contact police.
