Police have told motorists there could be some disruption caused by a cycle protest tomorrow morning.

Climate change campaign group Earth Strike is planning a mass bike ride in Nottingham tomorrow at about 08:00, coinciding with rush hour.

Organisers say they want to assert their "presence on the road" and slow down traffic so drivers can see their banners and signs.

Nottinghamshire Police said the inner ring road (Maid Marian Way, Collin Street, Canal Street and both Upper and Lower Parliament Street) around the city could be affected until about 9:15.

A climate protest is also planned in Leicester.

The park authority said their stags are showing increased aggression not just towards each other but also visitors and even a member of staff.

A spokesman said on Instagram: "We would like to reitirate that under NO circumstances should the stags (or any Deer) be approached, especially now.
