Police have launched a campaign to support Nottingham's Chinese community following a rise in coronavirus-related hate crime.
The force said it received 42 reports of hate crime related to the pandemic between March and May, half of which were aimed at people from Chinese communities.
In response to this, information on how to report hate crime has been translated into Mandarin.
Nottinghamshire Police said it was working with Nottingham City Council to make sure the East Asian and South East Asian communities knew how to report these crimes.
Min Rose - a Chinese staff member at the University of Nottingham - who worked with the authorities on the campaign said: “This demonstrates a sense of solidarity by the Chinese community within the city where they have made their home."

Staff cleaning public toilets in the Derbyshire Dales have been subject to verbal abuse over the past two weeks, a council has said.
All 10 of Derbyshire Dales District Council's public toilets reopened on 22 June after being closed for three months, with reduced hours of 11:00 to 15:00.
A district council spokesperson said: "In the main, the reopening has been successful, though, sadly, our staff have at times been subjected to verbal abuse from members of the public.
"However, following the reopening of retail, bars and restaurants as coronavirus lockdown eases, we believe it makes sense to extend opening hours."
The council said opening hours will be increased to 10:30 to 17:30, but added loos will be cleaned four times a day - during which time the toilets will temporarily close.
Officers said reopening facilities would help support the reopening of other businesses, including Bakewell Market, and would improve public use and the retention of health and safety in open spaces.
Ashley Watts, the authority's director of community and environmental services, said there was no "golden ticket" to avoid all risk by reopening public toilets but the council has an obligation to "find something that is workable".

The National Crime Agency (NCA) has confirmed it has received information about allegations of modern slavery and exploitation in Leicester's textile industry.
It said it is looking at the information and working with organisations including Leicestershire Police, HM Revenue & Customs, Leicester City Council, the Health and Safety Executive and Home Office Immigration Enforcement.
A spokesman for the agency said their "primary focus" was protecting vulnerable people and that visits to a number of businesses in Leicester are "likely to continue".
"The NCA does not intend to give a running commentary on our activity, but once our assessment is complete we will look to engage with partners to deliver a response at the appropriate level," the spokesman added.
A HSE spokeswoman said it had inspected 10 sites. She said one business was issued an improvement notice and officers will "take enforcement action where necessary".

A Nottinghamshire councillor has resigned from his role on the council's Health and Wellbeing Board after he made alleged Islamophobic comments on social media in the wake of the Nice terror attack in 2016.
Conservative Steve Vickers resigned from his position as chairman of the health board at Nottinghamshire County Council on Monday.
The comments, which came to light earlier this year, were made before his election to the county council, but later led to him being suspended.
He apologised at a recent council meeting and was appointed as chair of the health board, but there was pressure on him to step down.
Some opposition councillors said they would boycott the meetings if he was still in post.
The council leader Kay Cutts previously defended him, saying the comments were made in the heat of the moment, but it's now been confirmed that on Monday evening he resigned as chair.

Boohoo has launched a review its UK supply chain after a series of allegations over the conditions at factories where its clothes are made.
The board said it was "shocked and appalled" by a Sunday Times report which claimed workers at a Leicester factory were paid £3.50 an hour and offered no protection from coronavirus.
The company has appointed Alison Levitt QC to look into the supply chain in the UK and promised to "rebuild the reputation of the textile manufacturing industry in Leicester".
In a statement, Boohoo management said: "We take extremely seriously all allegations of malpractice, poor working conditions, and underpayment of workers.
"The group will not tolerate any incidence of non-compliance with its code of conduct or any mistreatment of workers, and will not hesitate to terminate relationships with any supplier who does not comply."
Next dropped Boohoo clothes from its websites last week, while Asos and Zalando followed suit on Tuesday.
The company's share price dropped from 385p on Friday to 260p late yesterday.
