    The company behind brands such as Ryvita, Jordans cereals and Kingsmill could soon move onto the the British Sugar site at Bardney. 

    Plans have been approved and Associated British Foods claim it will bring around 100 jobs.

    Ian Fleetwood is a district councillor for Bardney and Cherry Willingham and says he hopes the jobs will benefit locals:

    Chris Cole, from first responder organisation LIVES, external, was first on the scene when 25-year-old Max Jones collapsed in his home. 

    He had to help Max breathe for 20 minutes before an ambulance could get there.

  5. Flashing incidents in Grimsbypublished at 10:21 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2016

    Residents have been warned after two flashing incidents took place last Wednesday in the Cromwell Road area of Grimsby.

    The first took place on Sackville Street just after 06:00 when a man on a bike exposed himself to a woman in her 40s. 

    The second happened 40 minutes later on Marshall Avenue where again a cyclist exposed himself, this time to a teenage girl.

    In both incidents the man has been described wearing dark clothing with a scarf obscuring his face.

    At this stage we are keeping an open mind as to whether the incidents are linked however whilst our enquiries are ongoing we would urge the public to be vigilant particularly during times of the day when there are fewer people around.

    Anglian Water says that disruption to one of the main routes through Boston could continue for almost a fortnight. 

    The southbound carriageway on John Adam's Way has been closed while repairs are carried out to a burst water main.

    The work could take until the 7th December to complete.

    Two Lincoln schools, Bishop King Primary and Monks Abbey, have said they're considering dropping Serco as their financial service provider after a catalogue of errors.

    Serco were given the multi-million pound contract to manage the books of County Council run schools by the authority but a number of schools have complained of multiple problems.

    Bishop King Primary School in Lincoln says 23 of its staff were not given their full pay last month. Monks Abbey says they've had recurring issues and have given the company notice.

    There are further frustrations for motorists in Boston after it was announced work to fix a water main in the town has been delayed.

    Anglian Water says work to repair the damaged pipe on John Adams Way in the town will now go on until next month.

    A spokesman said: "It has been a significant engineering challenge with a number of other essential utilities and services under the road and sitting on top of our damaged main that we must navigate." 

    One lane of the John Adams southbound carriageway remains open.

    It is hoped the road will be reopen by 7 December.

    British Transport police officers have been in Sleaford talking to pedestrians and drivers today.

    It's part of a national initiative to stop people misusing railway crossings.

    A government minister says Lincolnshire's hospital trust needs to honour its commitments to the people of Grantham. 

    Grantham Hospital's A&E department has been closed overnight since August because of a staff shortage. 

    Transport Secretary Chris Grayling's been in Lincolnshire today to campaign with Caroline Johnson, the Tory candidate in the Sleaford and North Hykeham by-election.
