    The government's promising to keep up spending on flood defences on the Humber. 

    The Conservative MP for Cleethorpes, Martin Vickers, raised the issue in the Commons recalling major flooding in the area three years ago.

    He told MPs about the tidal surge in December 2013 and asked for reassurance that money would still be spent on the region's flood defences.

    Environment Minister and Suffolk Coastal MP, Therese Coffey told him he didn't have to worry. 

    She said the schemes that have already been planned will go ahead.

    Curtis-Barrett is in his first year as a professional player and has also suffered personal tragedy with the death of his wife at the age of just 30 due to breast cancer.

    An investigation has started after an arson attack where a wheelie bin was set on fire and pushed against the door of a flat.

    The bin was left outside the property on Stanage Walk in Grimsby at around 22:15 GMT on Tuesday.

    The fire caused extensive damage to the door and bin but luckily no one was in the property at the time.

    Grimsby Town's former defender Paul Futcher has died, external after his battle with cancer, aged 60.

    RAF commanders have voiced concerns about the use of commercial drones after a near miss near RAF Cranwell. 

    A report says a training aircraft spotted the drone flying at 1500 feet near the flight path. 

    Legally drones aren't supposed to go above 400 feet.

    It's been announced The Human League will perform at the Lincolnshire Showground next year.

    The English electronic new wave band dominated the 80s with their synth-pop sound, receiving the Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act in 1982.
