Earlier this year Lincolnshire Police admitted no suitable candidates had come forward to replace the current chief constable Neil Rhodes.
Well, now there are five people who have been shortlisted after the job was re-advertised.
Lincolnshire's Police and Crime Commissioner Marc Jones told me earlier the field has now improved and the interviews will take place on 1 December.
Mr Rhodes will retire in February.

One of Lincolnshire's Euro MPs has given his support to Nigel Farage after suggestions from Donald Trump that he should be the British ambassador to Washington.
Roger Helmer, a UKIP MEP for the East Midlands says Mr Farage is the "best qualified" person for the job.
Downing Street says there's "no vacancy" and the UK has "an excellent ambassador", who only started his four-year term this year.

A 35-year-old man suffered injuries to his head and face in an attack in a nightclub toilet at the weekend.
Police in Cleethorpes say they're looking for a group of men after the assault in Barracuda on the resort's Grant Street.
It took place between 02.30 and 03.30 on Saturday morning.

We've heard from Lincolnshire Police about that suspect package at the college building in Heath Road.
A spokesman said: "This matter has now been resolved. The package was not suspicious and the cordon has been lifted.
"Thank you to everyone for their co-operation and patience."

The sentences of two teenagers who killed Elizabeth Edwards and her daughter Katie in Spalding have been referred to the Attorney General as "too lenient".
But he says that's no guarantee their jail terms will increase:

A man from Lincoln who admitted having indecent images of children has been spared prison.
Rory Duncombe has been given an eight-month suspended sentence.
The judge at Lincoln Crown Court said Duncombe had been unusually frank about his interest in children.
The 20-year-old from Otters Cottages, Newark Road, has to do 100 hours of work in the community and register as a sex offender for 10 years.

Figures suggest the north west is going to have three times more money spent on infrastructure projects than in Yorkshire and the Humber.

The Marine Conservation Society has welcomed a big drop in the number of plastic bags being found on British beaches.
They say the introduction of the 5p plastic bag charge is responsible and it means there will be fewer hazards on the beaches that could harm wildlife.
