    A bike and two chainsaws have been stolen from a house in Barrow-Upon-Humber over the weekend.

    Police believe someone broke in to a garage on Hallam Avenue.

    Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.

    A man accused of mistreating a four-year-old, who died while in his care has admitted smoking heroin while she was in the same house.

    Poppy Widdison died in June 2013.

    Today John Rytting, 40, of Frederick Street in Grimsby said that Poppy was in the living room while he and others smoked drugs in the kitchen at a friend's house.

    Rytting, the partner of Poppy's mother, admitted child cruelty, but denies mistreating the girl and drug offences. The trial continues.

    A motorbike has been stolen over the weekend from the Swineshead area near Boston.

    The Demon DXR CRF50 off road pit bike was taken during a garage burglary from a property on Donington Road.

    Police say the theft was around 22:30 on Saturday.

    Unpleasant smells, meals left untouched and an environment where people were not cared for with kindness.

    These are some of the concerns about the Limes Care Home in Scopwick near Lincoln, highlighted in a report by the Care Quality Commission. , external

    The service was deemed to be not safe, not effective and not well led and as a result has been put into special measures.

    The home which is run by Ablegrange Limited will now be set a date by which it must improve. 

    The home refused to comment.

    An amateur football team from Lincolnshire has withdrawn their reserve side from the Peterborough League after an alleged assault on a referee at the weekend. 

    Pinchbeck United's second team were losing 4-0 against Tydd St Mary on Saturday, when the game was abandoned after the reported incident at half-time. 

    In a statement, the club say they are "disgusted and appalled" by one of their player's actions.

    A local group collecting for families left homeless by a fire in Ingoldmells say they're temporarily putting the appeal on hold while they deal with the amount of donations they've already received. 

    The Skegness Lion Club says they've had a huge response after the Sea Lane Hotel caught alight on Friday. Several families who use it as winter accommodation during the caravan off-season lost all their possessions in the blaze.

    Increasing your council tax is one of the options being discussed to pay for care services for the elderly and disabled.

    The Government could allow local authorities in England and Wales increase council tax beyond the extra 2% for which they already have permission but they'd have to cut bills in future years.

    Council spending on care has fallen by 9% in real terms over the past five years with local government blaming cuts to their funding from central government.

    There's a warning about personal safety when using cash machines in East Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire over the Christmas period. 

    Humberside Police say there have been two incidents in Grimsby and Cleethorpes recently where people have had money stolen from them after taking cash out. 

    They are warning people to be extra vigilant, especially at night.

    On Friday eight fire crews had to deal with a blaze at the Sea Lane Hotel in Ingoldmells, it burned for hours before it was finally put out. 

    Several families, who live in static caravans for most of the year, use the hotel as winter accommodation and almost instantly an appeal began for clothes and goods for those affected. 

    These two women were staying at the hotel and say they've been overwhelmed by the generosity of the community.

    The Home Office has responded to the National Farmers' Union (NFU) fears that crops will rot in fields because of a falling number of migrant harvesters.

    In a statement the Home Office said that the issue of migrant workers is "complex" and has "no quick fix" but efforts have to be made to bring migration down to "sustainable levels".
