On Monday we told you about the decision by the owners of the Limes Care Home in Scopwick to shut it down after a damning report from a health watchdog.
Today the company that owns the care home, Ablegrange Lincoln Ltd, has said they're working with the County Council to transfer remaining residents to other homes and are making sure they're being properly cared for in the meantime.
Quote MessageWe have ensured that the residents remain well looked after, are safe and comfortable until they are transferred... We are aware that Christmas and New Year is coming and anybody who is unable to move before this period will be well looked after for the festive period.

A Lincolnshire company whose approach to health and safety was described as "an accident waiting to happen" by a former employee, has been fined thousands after a worker had his legs crushed by two steel beams.
Losberger UK, based near Grantham, makes temporary buildings for large scale events around the country.
In July last year an untrained employee was moving steel beams, when two of them fell on his legs. The weight, of over 40 stone, snapped the man's tibia and fibula.
The company admitted liability and said it had spent £80,000 on health and safety since the accident.

An inquest into the deaths of a mother and her severely disabled son who died in a house fire in Dunston is expected to conclude today.
Audrey Swallow died at the scene in August last year. Her husband Patrick managed to rescue their son David from the building but he later died of his injuries.
Evidence given yesterday by Mr Swallow, the fire service and police painted a picture of a marriage strained by constant round-the-clock care and Mrs Swallow's own ill health.
Mr Swallow recalled how his wife has said to him "I've had enough darling" before the fire started and an investigation by Lincolnshire fire service concluded the fire had been started deliberately.
