Thanks for keeping me company today - we'll be back with more live updates from 08:00 on Monday and breaking news, travel and weather will continue here throughout the night and over the weekend.

Just before I head off, let's look back at five things we've discovered during the day:

  2. Burglars in Spalding crime wave 'despicable and disgusting'published at 17:44 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

    Hope Bolger
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

Detectives in Lincolnshire have described burglars who prised open safes in sheltered accomodation to snatch house keys as "despicable and disgusting".

The burglars then returned hours later to steal from vulnerable people as they slept.

More than 20 homes in the Spalding area have been targeted in the past eight days.

DI Dave Rimmer says in some cases victims woke to find a burglar, wearing a balaclava, in their home.

    Quote Message

On the occasions where they've woken up and the offender's been in the property it's very frightening for them. Luckily there's been no confrontation or anything like that but the mere sight of somebody in your home in the middle of the night is going to frighten you very badly.

    DI Dave Rimmer, Lincolnshire Police

Officers raided a property yesterday in connection with the burglaries; investigations are continuing.

  6. General election: Points raised in Gainsborough debatepublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

    Chris Berrow
    Presenter

The candidates who want to be the next MP for Gainsborough have been answering questions during our latest hustings here at BBC Radio Lincolnshire.

The Liberal Democrat candidate Lesley Rollings is concerned about health care and says the service varies according to where you live.

    Quote Message

In Market Rasen for instance they get doctor's appointments quite quickly, in Gainsborough they're waiting for three weeks. The out of hours service for the area was massively cut... and the Liberal Democrats have led a fight to get some of that clawed back in but it's woefully inadequate at the moment."

    Lesley Rollings, Liberal Democrat candidate

Vicky Pearson, from the Green Party, says climate change is not talked about enough.

    Quote Message

I think especially in Lincolnshire where there are huge swathes of fracking sites being opened up for exploration at the moment although there is no actual development going on, those licences are open and they're in areas in our constituency like Saxilby and in the Wolds and people don't even know that's in our back garden."

    Vicky Pearson, Green Party candidate

Labour's Dr Catherine Tite says if she's elected, tackling unemployment will be a priority.

    Quote Message

There is widespread youth unemployment in the constituency and again in my party's own local leaflet to voters and nationally we intend to address that immediately."

    Catherine Tite, Labour candidate

Meanwhile, the Conservative's Edward Leigh says if he's re-elected he'll focus on an immigration policy which protects both his constituents and workers from abroad.

    Quote Message

We will go on welcoming people after we leave the European Union who want to work here. But the system just simply wasn't working, particularly in terms of immigration from Eastern Europe where our in work and out of work benefits were acting as a draw. So once we leave the European Union we can have a sustainable migration policy."

    Sir Edward Leigh, Conservative candidate
