It's after senior party members said the Twitter profile had nothing to do with them.

The party said they became aware of the account this morning and Twitter acted immediately.

  2. Praise for sons speaking out about domestic abusepublished at 08:39 British Summer Time 2 June 2017

    Hope Bolger
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

A domestic abuse service in Lincolnshire has commended the sons of a Spalding man, who killed his wife and daughter, for raising awareness of the issue.

Ten months ago Lance Hart shot dead his wife Claire and teenage daughter Charlotte outside a swimming pool in Spalding, before turning the gun on himself.

His sons Luke and Ryan have been speaking about what happened on the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire show.

Celia Madden from the West Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Service has commended them for coming forward.

    Quote Message

I think it's very brave and it's great that they're coming forward to do this. It is so difficult for people that are subjected to domestic abuse to sometimes realise that they are in an abusive relationship.

Celia Madden, West Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Service

    Katie O'Halloran
    BBC Radio Lincolnshire

A blaze at a static caravan on the Lincolnshire coast yesterday has sparked a holiday-season warning from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.

Fire crews were called to deal with the blaze at Hurdman Way in Ingoldmells yesterday, the cause is still under investigation.

Two other caravans neighbouring caravans were also damaged by the smoke and flames.

    Quote Message

As caravans are often small enclosed spaces, are made of lightweight and highly combustible fittings and include hazards like gas cylinders, it is important that people know how they can reduce the risk of fire."

  10. Burglars 'target elderly and vulnerable' in 20 key safe raidspublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 1 June 2017

    Martin Slack
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

Extra police are being drafted into a Lincolnshire town after a spate of at least 20 burglaries at the homes of elderly and vulnerable people.

Lincolnshire Police say the raids have taken place in the Spalding area and involve at least two men who wear balaclavas.

    Key safe

The burglars are ripping key safe boxes (like the one pictured above) from the outside walls of properties and forcing them open. They then return later and let themselves in to steal goods from the house.

Police say a house in Spalding has been raided today in connection with the offences and you're being asked to keep an eye on your elderly neighbours.

    Quote Message

These criminals have sunk about as low as an offender can go as to deliberately target the elderly in this way is despicable."

Recently fruit trees have also been destroyed in another park, and plants have been stolen from on-street planters.

A council spokesman said: "We're making an appeal for anyone who sees this kind of anti-social behaviour to report it immediately by calling police on 101 and making a note of the location and time.

Officers were called to North Hykeham, near Lincoln, earlier after members of the public reported a man with a weapon.

    Police chopper

But the force said after carrying out searches with officers from armed response vehicles and the police helicopter it's believed the call was "made in good faith but was incorrect".
