The service is run by the Lincoln Business Improvement Group (BIG).

Chief executive Matt Corrigan says a survey's been carried out among passengers asking what improvements they want.

It shows people want clearer and more permanent signage from the bypass and more posters on board the buses to show the route and the destination.

  11. Force wants half its officers Taser-trainedpublished at 09:05 British Summer Time 18 July 2017

    Martin Slack
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

Senior police officers say they want half of Lincolnshire's front line police to be trained in the use of Tasers.

More officers are about to be trained - but force chiefs say they don't expect to see a spike in the weapons' use.

    taser

The force says between April 2016 and March 2017 a Taser was drawn from a holster 209 times and reholstered without use 85 times.

Figures show a Taser was fully discharged in that year just 25 times - with the threat of its use being adequate on all other occasions.

    Quote Message

When our officers run towards danger I personally want to see them kept safe and leave uninjured, so they can then deal with the next incident. It is my aim to ensure one in every two officers on patrol are trained and equipped with a Taser.
