This time the target was the Co-op in West Street, Crowland, near Spalding (below).
Officers say the attempted theft happened just after 04.00 this morning with three offenders trying to use a pick-up truck to remove the ATM.
A police spokesman said: "Work is ongoing this morning to trace the offenders and vehicles.
"We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything and who has not already spoken to police."

Here's the tweet that confirms Grantham A&E will remain closed at night for at least another 12 weeks.
The closure was first brought in on August 17 last year - meaning more than a year of overnight closures.
I'm at the meeting where the decision's been taken - and I'll have more from hospital campaigners and the trust later.

Grantham's A&E looks set to remain closed overnight for at least a further three months.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Lincolnshire's main hospitals, is recommending the decision is reviewed again in three months time.
The overnight closure at Grantham was brought in a year ago because of staff shortages across the trust.
It comes as managers admit they are also struggling to provide a full service at Lincoln's main A&E because there are not enough doctors.
