    Here's quite the, er, "tail"...

    A Lincolnshire family has been reunited with its cat, four years after he went missing:

    Kate Beanland and her family lived in Stamford when their cat Quasi wandered off.

    They searched everywhere for him but had no luck.

    Two months later they moved house and gave up any hope of finding the cat, they even got a dog...

    Then, four years on, they got a call from the Ivy Lodge Beauty Parlour, saying they'd found him -looking a bit worse for wear and with his fur matted.

    His fur's since been shaved and, it seems, he's now settling back in nicely. A purrfect end to the story...

    People are being invited to meet with hospital governors in Scunthorpe to discuss news relating to the trust.

    The next meeting will be held on 3 August between 17:00 and 19:00.

    Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust says governors are the link between members and directors.

    Officials say this is an opportunity to discuss any issues and developments people may be concerned about.

    Work starts today on a new multi-million pound staff accommodation block at Grimsby hospital, external.

    It'll cost more than £16m and will have 96 student units and 124 apartments.

    Managers say the present accommodation is in poor condition and they hope the new development will attract more key workers to the area, including doctors and nurses.

    North East Lincolnshire Council's cabinet group is due to meet to decide if the lease of the town's ice rink should be handed to a community group after plans were agreed in principle in June.

    There's going to be a delay of a few weeks to the completion of the first phase of Lincoln's Cornhill development.

    The multimillion-pound project aims to regenerate the Cornhill Quarter of the city, external in conjunction with the work being done on the Transport Hub, external.

    The first tenant, cocktail bar Cosy Club, moves into the Corn Exchange building today to start developing the upstairs unit.

    It's hoped the first few venues and shops at the site will now be finished and open by the start of November - a delay of about three to four weeks.

    Tim Bradford, from developers Banks, Long and Co, says he'd rather it takes longer to deliver the best quality:

    More than 200 people are expected to join in a Walk for Peace from Lincoln Cathedral, external this evening.

    It's that time of year when any journey around the county seems to grind to a halt.

    Temporary traffic lights, road cones, diversions... It's a busy time for people in fluorescent jackets as they try to get work done during the summer holidays.

    We've had a quick look and roadworks are currently under way in Lincoln, Grantham, Boston, Louth, Spalding and Sleaford. The list goes on!, external

    And that's just what's being done by the county council, there's more being done by the water company, BT, Network Rail and Highways England.

    Cllr Richard Davies, the man responsible for highways, says the summer holidays are the best time to do most roadworks:

    The emergency department at Lincoln County Hospital is expected to return to normal today.

    At the weekend patients were asked to only attend if it was absolutely necessary due to a staffing crisis.

    Consultants were asked to work longer hours and senior staff were brought in from other departments.

    There's lots of events planned over the next few days, but to kick if all off they welcomed a very special guest.
