    Central Park in Boston's being transformed in to an outdoor cinema over the next two nights.

    You'll be able to watch the films Mary Poppins tonight and Despicable Me tomorrow.

    It's being run by town centre services manager Christine Willoughby - who says she's hoping for a good turnout.

    Tickets cost £6 for adults, £4 for children and £18 for a family of two adults and two children. There's more details on the website here, external.

    Anglian Water has apologised to customers in Immingham after a water mains burst affected properties across the town.

    The company says a large area's affected - but it hopes to have supplies back to normal by lunchtime.

    What's dubbed as Lincoln's biggest and best ever Steampunk Festival gets under way today.

    It's expected to attract up to 120,000 people to the city. Visitors dress in late Victorian outfits with a sci-fi twist.

    Don't be alarmed if you hear the sound of sirens in Grimsby and Cleethorpes later this morning.

    The Environment Agency is carrying out its annual test of the flood sirens, which were installed 10 years ago.

    The 18 sirens are designed to warn more than 25,000 households and businesses of imminent tidal flooding.

    They'll sound at 10:00 and 12:00.

    Police say three streets in Grantham were targeted in the early hours of yesterday by thieves who broke into work vans.

    The incidents happened on Cliffe Road, Long Street, and North Parade - and officers say they're looking for two people who were seen in the area in a white Volkswagen Golf.

    A director of a recruitment agency which supplied farm workers to Lincolnshire says he's wondering who will pick our fruit and vegetables after today's migration figures were published.

    John Hardman was speaking on the BBC's Victoria Derbsyshire programme after statistics out today showed estimated net migration has fallen by 81,000 - its lowest level for three years.

    The figures show that in the year to the end of March there was a significant rise in the number of EU nationals leaving the UK.

    Mr Hardman says Brexit means he's struggling to find employees from the EU.

    This pair of coins are among a hoard of almost 300 uncovered on land owned by the University of Lincoln.

    They were unearthed by metal detectorists Sean Scargill and Hugh Jenkins in a field at Riseholme on the northern edge of Lincoln.

    Dr Adam Daubney, Finds Liaison Officer at Lincolnshire County Council, said: "The findings offer a fascinating glimpse into a period of history when huge political changes were occurring.

    "We don't fully understand why the coins were placed into the ground, although this was certainly done deliberately."

    Do you recognise any of these watch faces? Police want you to have a close look at them because they were stolen from a house in Scunthorpe and could be offered for sale.

    They were taken from Winterton Road a couple of weeks ago and officers think those responsible will be trying to sell them on.

  18. WATCH: Cute kittens move in at City Hallpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 24 August 2017

    This pair of kittens are settling in at City Hall in Lincoln after workers found them abandoned in a house on a council estate.

    They were found at an address on the St Giles Estate after the residents had moved out.

    Neighbours say they'd been feeding them through the letter box.

    Looks as if they're ready to set the agenda for today's council committees:

  19. Flying Scotsman WILL pass through Lincolnshire...published at 13:48 British Summer Time 24 August 2017

    ... but it will be on a completely different route - meaning people who have spent the morning waiting for it will be disappointed.

    The famous locomotive was due to pass through Gainsborough, Saxilby, Metheringham and other stations through to Spalding and Peterborough this morning.

    But it was delayed on it's departure from York and now the National Railway Museum - which runs the engine - says it will travel down the East Coast main line.

    That means it will pass through Lincolnshire between Newark, through Grantham and southwards, but the enthusiasts on the other route will miss it.

    A man has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a 23-year-old woman from Lincolnshire in a car crash.

    Dominique Wright was killed after the crash on Nottingham Road, Southwell, in October last year.

    Today, Benjamin Hughes, 24, from Nottingham Road in Lowdham, admitted causing death by careless driving when over the prescribed limit.

    He will be sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on 22 September.
