• There have been clashes between National Front supporters and anti-fascist protesters in Grantham over the weekend
• The Mablethorpe marathon has been cancelled, external- organisers say they've not got enough volunteers for the event
• Businesses in Lincolnshire are being encouraged to set up bee hives on their premises to help stop the declining bee population

National Front supporters and anti-fascist protesters faced-off in Grantham over the weekend.

In the days running up to the march by the National Front in the town on Saturday, anti-fascist campaigners had called upon members to protest.

An eyewitness said that both sides congregated on St Peter's Hill on Saturday.

They described chanting and name calling as the National Front members - numbering about 30 - began their march.

Both sides held placards and banners - including a confederate flag.

Two people were arrested by Lincolnshire Police- one for a public order offence and one for assaulting a police officer.
