    Since the pedal bike scheme began in 2013 more than 12,000 trips have been made on conventional push bikes.

    More now on the man who was hit by a car on Pinchbeck Road in Spalding this lunchtime.

    Police say he's suffered "possible life-changing injuries" in the incident.

    No-one has been arrested.

    Pinchbeck Road remains shut in both directions between the A151 King's Road and New Road.

    Traffic is heavy in the area.

    North Lincolnshire Council have said that there will be no bin collections on Tuesday 5 September, due to the Tour of Britain cycling race passing through the area.

    Bins will instead be collected on Saturday 9 September, with the exception of the burgundy bin which will be emptied on Monday 11 September.

    We told you earlier about the "Teletubby hills" of Lincoln's Carlton estate.

    The firm who originally were going to level them have been in touch to say the plan is now to remodel them.

    Following discussions with the local authority and lspeaking to resident Linden Homes say they recognise the Olsen Court mounds have become an established and popular feature of the local landscape:

    With two weeks to go until the end of consultation on Louth livestock market, thousands of people have already had their say.

    East Lindsey District Council's received more than 2,700 responses to the public consultation so far.

    They're consulting on three options: to build a new market, retain and refurbish the current site, or to try to remove their obligation to hold the market altogether.

    A man has been hit by a car on Spalding's Pinchbeck Road.

    It happened just before 12:30 - the air ambulance is attending the incident.

    The road is closed at the junction with New Road and Kings Road and is also affecting traffic on Westlode street.

    Experts are rebuilding a World War Two aircraft in Lincolnshire.

    The East Kirkby Aviation Centre has added a Mosquito fighter bomber to its collection, this is what it looks like:

    It's hoped the "Mossie" - which at one point was one of the fastest aircraft in the world - will be able to do taxi runs next year.

  12. Grimsby roof fall man latestpublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 23 August 2017

    A man has been taken to hospital after falling from the roof of a Chinese restaurant in Grimsby town centre.

    An air ambulance landed in Cartergate car park at around 09:45 as paramedics attended to the 60-year-old who fell from the roof of the Golden Regency restaurant, in Old Market Place, onto a flat platform below.

    The man, who is associated with the restaurant, was reportedly carrying out repairs at the time of the incident.

    Emergency services were parked in the car park of the old Grange Wintringham Solicitors building off West St Marys Gate, with three fire and rescue appliances at the scene along with a hydraulic platform, two ambulances and the air ambulance.

    He was lifted down, conscious and breathing, before being taken to Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital for further treatment.

    A community meeting's being held tonight in Woodhall Spa to discuss a number of controversial planning applications for new houses in the village.

    Back in 2014 it was announced the derelict Woodhall Spa baths, that have stood empty for more than 30 years, were going to be redeveloped and reopened.

    However three years on, the building remains the same with no signs of improvement.

    The developers, GN Construction, are believed to be working alongside other local businesses to get the parking right.

    East Lindsey District Council Leader Craig Leyland says he's hopeful the £4m plan will come off:

  17. Two saved by lifeguards off Ingoldmells beachpublished at 11:13 British Summer Time 23 August 2017

    Lifeguards have saved the lives of two men swimming in the sea at Ingoldmells yesterday evening.

    They were near a rocky outcrop when they got caught up in a rip current and began to struggle.

    Luckily two lifeguards (pictured), both called Tom, saw them and got them back to shore:

    One of the swimmers has been taken to hospital for treatment.
