    Police want to speak to these two men in connection with money being taken from a number of machines at a bar in Skegness.

    It happened shortly before 16.00 on Thursday 3 August at the Marine Boathouse on Lumley Road.

    The machines were tampered with and a large number of £1 coins were stolen.

    Fake goods valued at a quarter of a million pounds have been seized on the Lincolnshire coast.

    The haul included bogus Adidas trainers, Chanel perfumes and North Face jackets.

    The raid at Glen Park Market, was carried out earlier in a joint operation with the Trading Standards, Lincolnshire Police and the Anti-Counterfeiting Group in Ingoldmells.

    The Bassingham racer, who competed in the Indy 500 this year, will race in the final two races of the year with the Schmidt Peterson team.

    Lincolnshire Police say they're sorry if residents were left feeling anxious and upset by a protest in Grantham at the weekend.

    But the force says it believes it planned and policed the event appropriately.

    Some 30 protestors from the National Front faced a similar number of campaigners from the United Against Facism group in the town on Saturday.

    Scuffles broke out and two arrests were made. One man has been charged with assaulting a police officer.

    The town's MP Nick Boles has condemned the far right group and welcomed the counter protest.

    More than 60 Lincolnshire firms have adopted a beehive for their work place.

    The Stamford-based company Bees for Business promote caring for the insects because their numbers have fallen sharply in recent years.

    Businesses can either sponsor a beehive or have one set up on their premises.

    The Grimsby MP Melanie Onn has said misogyny should be treated as a hate crime.

    Verbal harassment on the streets and unwanted physical attention have contributed to a rise in sexual offences in North East Lincolnshire since 2009.

    Last year, Nottinghamshire Police was the first force in the UK to record misogynistic incidents.

    Andy McDyer from Humberside Police says they will look for guidance nationally about this subject, but they take all reports very seriously.

    A horse rider from Lincolnshire is celebrating after being part of the team to win gold at the European Eventing Championships.

    Ros Canter from Louth helped team GB to victory this weekend at the event in Poland.

    It's the first time Ros has ridden for the senior team, and the first time the team has won gold in these championships since 2009.

    A woman from Lincoln who witnessed the terror attack in Barcelona has returned to the UK.

    Stephanie Walton was close to Las Ramblas last Thursday when a van was driven through the busy tourist area killing 13 people and injuring dozens more.

    A motorcyclist has died following a collision on the A631 in Lincolnshire.

    It happened at West Rasen yesterday afternoon at around 13:45.

    The rider was a 28-year-old from Oxfordshire - he was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary but died a few hours later.

    The police are appealing for witnesses.

    Supporters of Grimsby Town have made a formal complaint to Stevenage Football Club after female fans were reportedly asked to lift their tops.

    In an open letter, the Mariners Trust, external allege that a female steward asked fans to show their bras as part of the security procedure as they entered the Lamex Stadium on Saturday, in view of male staff and supporters.

    Amanda Jacks from the Football Supporters Federation (FSF) said: "I am very shocked, not least because I have been doing this job for 10 years.

    "Just when you think you've heard it all, something like this crops up.

    "I think it's an absolute one-off incident and we will work hard to make sure it stays as a one-off incident."

    The FSF say they are aware of at least four supporters who were asked to lift their tops.

    Stevenage FC have been approached for comment.

    Two men have suffered cuts to the head and bruising after being assaulted in Boston.

    It happened in the early hours of yesterday morning in Woodville Park near to the junction of Sleaford Road and Woodville Road.

    The victims two men aged in their 30s - were approached by a group of men.

    Lincolnshire Police say they would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the assault to get in touch with them.

    A shortage of volunteers has meant the Mablethorpe marathon's had to be cancelled.

    The organisers say that, due to ill-health of key personnel and circumstances beyond their control, they don't have enough volunteers for the event to go ahead.

    It was due to take place on 1 October and organisers say runners who have registered will be reimbursed.

    A £1.5m flood defence scheme in Cleethorpes has been completed on time and within budget.

    The project to replace the timber breakwater which is 100-years-old began in April.

    More than 12,000 tonnes of rocks from Norway have been used to protect the north promenade from flooding.

    The Y-shaped rock groynes will reduce the impact of the waves on the sea walls.

    Two people have been arrested after a clash between the National Front and anti-fascists in Grantham.

    Both groups held rallies in the town on Saturday, a police officer was assaulted as scuffles broke out.

    MP for Grantham and Stamford Nick Boles condemned the far right group and said he was glad a counter protest had been organised.

    An eyewitness said that both sides congregated on St Peter's Hill on Saturday. They described chanting and name calling as the National Front members - numbering about thirty - began their march.

    Lincoln's Lee Jackson has taken his maiden podium finish in the British Superbike Championship, with second place in race two at his home track Cadwell Park.

    Jackson, who'd finished sixth in the opening race but only 1.2 seconds behind the winner, also had his first BSB pole position in race two and set a new lap record.

    Lee's team-mate, Peter Hickman from Louth, was fourth in race one and race two as he consolidated his third place in the standings.

    Jason O'Halloran of Louth's Honda Racing team took fifth and fourth-placed finished in the two races, but his team-mate Dan Linfoot crashed out of race one and didn't start race two.

    Elsewhere there was a 1-2 for Lincolnshire twins Tom and Tim Neave in the superstock 600 race, while in Supersport, Lincoln's Matt Truelove crashed on the opening lap and Harry Truelove was 17th.
