Several former detainees at the immigration removal centre near Lincoln (pictured) have spoken to the BBC about their experiences there.

Among detainees are asylum seekers hoping to live in the UK after escaping from war zones around the world.

Earlier in the week we heard from a PHD Student and detainee who said people who'd fled from war in Iraq had killed themselves in the centre.

Lincolnshire County Council say the existing traffic lights at the junction between Norfolk Street and Witham Place in Boston (pictured) are being replaced with new more energy efficient lights which require less maintenance.

But there's been a backlash on social media.

One Boston driver, Sarah Isaacs, says people will face four weeks of "traffic misery" and that the council would be "better off resurfacing the roads and fixing the potholes".

The council said the new signals will be safer and the efficiency will save money on annual running costs.

Work begins on Monday 29 January.

There will be some disruption while the work is carried out, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
