    A man's been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in the legs at a house in Boston on Sunday.

    Joshua King, 23, of Cleymond Chase, Kirton, Boston, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court later.

    People living in Barton-upon-Humber say they're concerned at the number of potholes in the town.

    It's after resurfacing work in the town over the winter which appears to have become damaged already.

    Local resident Lee Beel has taken to Facebook to vent his frustration about the condition of various roads, including Pasture Road, Falkland Way and Eastfield Road.

    Mr Beel says signs and traffic cones in the middle of the roads have been making driving conditions even more difficult.

    Lincoln City's turnover has more than trebled as a result of last season's FA Cup run and promotion, new figures reveal.

    The club's accounts also confirm the Imps have cleared their historic debt.

    The club's turnover is up to to just over £4.5m and it made more than £1m in profit before tax.

    The good financial news comes as the Imps look to book their first ever trip to Wembley tonight with a win in a semi-final Checkatrade Trophy tie against Chelsea under-21s.

    The remaining rides from Cleethorpes' landmark Pleasure Island theme park are to be auctioned off.

    People will be able to bid for the items, including a 114-year-old carousel, at a two-day auction event next month.

    Lincolnshire rail passengers who use the East Coast Main Line are being told services will continue to run as normal.

    Yesterday it was announced a new company will take over the running of the line, which runs through Lincolnshire to London, because the current operator Stagecoach has been making significant losses.

    Transport Secretary Chris Grayling said Stagecoach would continue running the London to Edinburgh line only for "a small number of months and no more".

    Rush hour delays in Lincoln are some of the worst in the country and cost the city £127m a year, according to new figures.

    The statistics, from travel analysts Inrix, show motorists in the city lose 36 hours every year in traffic jams - with only London and Manchester having longer waits.

    Lincoln's above Birmingham in the table - and third in the top 10 list of most congested towns and cities in the UK.

    The UK is the world's 10th most congested country and London is Europe's second most gridlocked city, according to the new report.

    Great Grimsby's MP is expected to ask a question in Parliament later about the time it takes between referrals and treatment for patients at hospitals in northern Lincolnshire.

    Lincoln's NHS walk-in centre is now closed on weekdays.

    An appeal has been launched to try to find 41-year-old Neale Chapman who's gone missing from his home in Immingham.

    He hasn't been seen since the 9 January, but was only reported missing on the 26 January.

    He's known to frequently visit the Freeman Street area of Grimsby.

    He is 6ft tall, slim with dark brown hair and missing a middle finger on one of his hands.

    A man has sustained serious injuries to his leg during an assault in Grimsby.

    It happened on Corporation Road at about 19:15 on 21 January.

    The victim was with his partner when they were approached by a man who asked for a cigarette.

    The victim refused and was assaulted by the man who ran off in the direction of Alexandra Road.

    The suspect is described as white, stocky, 5ft 7in, wearing a black top, grey jogging bottoms and a black woollen hat.

    Police say it happened just before midnight on Friday outside the Turks Head pub in Aswell Street.

    Eight men have been arrested in a day of action against hare coursing in Lincolnshire.

    Four vehicles and seven dogs were also seized yesterday.

    The incidents were reported in the south of the county.
