Work on a new £8m hotel in Skegness is due to begin today after a drawn-out planning process.

Plans to create a "strategic alliance" for the East Midlands have been confirmed by Nottinghamshire County Council.
News of the scheme was made public last week, and the idea of a four-county devolution plan has faced widespread criticism from opposition in that time.
Leaders of Nottinghamshire County Council held talks with counterparts in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire with the aim of creating a new authority which they hope could rival the West Midlands and Manchester.
In a joint statement, the county council leaders said: "We believe that we can achieve much more if we work together, particularly in the areas of connectivity, trade, investment and growth.
"We want to work together to grow our economy so that we build on our strengths and tackle our challenges.
"The next stage in the plans will be to have further detailed talks to see how we can take the Strategic Alliance forward with a view to eventually being able to draw down powers and funding from government."
The leader of the Labour group at Nottinghamshire County Council, Alan Rhodes, has attacked the county's plans calling them "simply ridiculous".
Lincolnshire's hospitals should play a bigger role in local residents' healthcare, according to a new review of the county's health services.
The Sustainability and Transformation Partnership includes all NHS trusts and commissioning groups in the county.
The partnership says it's made some progress, with fewer people being treated outside the county and now wants to focus on improving the healthcare offered by the county's hospitals.
But the leader of Lincolnshire County Council, Martin Hill, has criticised the partnership for not being more transparent about the progress it's making.
He says the lack of a clear plan is already having a negative impact on services and makes it harder to recruit new staff.
