    A woman who called 999 more than 700 times has been ordered to pay £2,000 in compensation to the East Midlands Ambulance Service, which serves several areas including Lincolnshire.

    Almost 100 calls were made to the ambulance service on Christmas Day alone.

    The caller, who hasn't been named, has been sentenced to a 12-month community order and will receive mental health treatment.

    A man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after a crash in Cleethorpes on Friday night.

    Taylor's Avenue was closed after two cars collided head on.

    The driver of the second car was taken to Grimsby's Diana Princess of Wales Hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be serious.

    The un-named man who suffered serious injuries was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.

    Campaigners fighting to save a Lincolnshire village pub say they're closing in on their target of £400,000.

    The Duke of Wellington in Leasingham went on sale last year.

    Residents say they're £65,000 short, but will refurbish the pub to become a community hub if they reach the target.

    Motorists are being warned to expect three weeks of roadworks on the Market Deeping bypass.

    Road closures are going to be in place overnight on approaches to roundabouts and temporary traffic lights are also being installed.

    A Grimsby man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in the town on 7 April.

    Daniel Woodroffe, 26, of Eleanor Street, Grimsby, has been remanded to appear before Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates' Court this morning after handing himself in, police say.

    He is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

    Some engineering firms in Lincolnshire say they're struggling to recruit people to fill technical roles.

    Now, several firms in Gainsborough have clubbed together to help set up an apprenticeship scheme for the town to try to plug the gap.

    Lincoln College is running it from its Gainsborough site.

    The Labour MP for Grimsby is backing a crackdown on unwanted sexual behaviour on public transport.

    British Transport Police say it's something that often goes unreported.

    Melanie Onn MP says it's important victims feel they are able to speak out.

    She says: : "For too long, victims of sexual harassment on public transport have not felt able to disclose this as an issue.
