    Police have appealed for witnesses to a collision which involved one of their vans and a HGV near Boston yesterday morning.

    It happened at about 11:00 on the A16 at Kirton but no-one was seriously injured.

    Investigations are continuing, but officers have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

    Police have told football fans that bad behaviour while watching matches won't be tolerated.

    The warning came after pub staff had to stop a man throwing a beer barrel out of a window.

    The man involved, who was in his 20s, was arrested after being ejected from The Anchor on Lincoln High Street, during the clash between England and Tunisia on Monday night.

    He was later released and was given a fixed penalty notice for a public order offence.

    Police are appealing for help to find this man after a stolen van was filled up with fuel at a Lincolnshire garage and was then driven away without paying.

    It happened at the Tesco petrol station on Beaumont Street, Gainsborough, last Friday.

    The white Ford Transit had been stolen earlier on the same day from the Humber region.

    Four lock gates have been lifted in to place today as part of the restoration of the Grantham Canal, external.

    Volunteers have been working since August 2015 to rebuild the lock walls using 22,000 bricks, 4,500 concrete blocks and 400 cubic metres of ready mixed concrete.

    This morning, the wooden gates were moved by crane in a big step forward for the project.

    Now this lock, Lock 15, is finished, volunteers will move on to Lock 14.

    The aim is to get the entire canal back to its "former glory" and fully accessible by boat.

    Police are appealing for help after two robbers threatened their victims with a hammer, external in two separate incidents on the same night in Grimsby.

    The first incident happened on Eleanor Street at about 00:30 on 14 June, when a teenager had his bike and money stolen.

    The second happened a short time later on Oxford Street when a man was assaulted and left with injuries to his face.

    Police are looking for two men in their 20s, with short brown hair, one wearing a light grey tracksuit, the other a dark one.

    One of the men is described as white, the other as possibly mixed race.

    Police are appealing for information.

    A woman who lives close to the scene where the body of a missing man and his car were recovered by police says it would have been difficult to find him.

    Fiona Stone lives near where Anthony Warner, from Wrangle, near Boston, was found.

    Police had been looking for Mr Warner, 34, who had been missing from his home since 7 June.

    Police are appealing for help to find a teenager who's been missing from his home in Lincolnshire since last week.

    Jack, from Nocton, near Lincoln, was last seen at about 17:45 on Friday.

    He is described as white, 6ft tall, very slim, with blond hair which is short on the sides and back but long on top.

    When he went missing he was wearing a black hoodie, black tracksuit bottoms and black/red trainers.

    Anyone with information about his whereabouts is being asked to contact police.

    Scunthorpe United have confirmed reports they've turned down an offer from Bristol City for Hakeeb Adelakun.

    But a club source has told us they're not currently in formal negotiations with any club over the player.

    The 22-year-old winger is out of contract, but with the Iron due compensation for the player they can still accept or reject offers for the player.
