Armed officers have this afternoon been carrying out a search at a property in Lincoln.
It happened on Thesiger Street following the arrest of a man earlier today on the A46 outside Dunholme.
It's thought there's no threat to the public but officers will remain in the area as enquiries continue.
Lincolnshire Police have arrested and released on bail a man in his 40s in connection with the sexual assault of a teenage girl.
The 17-year-old was attacked about 13:30 in the Curzon Estate, Tattershall, on Thursday 19 July.
Officers are appealing for witnesses.
Former TT winner Ivan Lintin, who crashed at the Southern 100 road races in the Isle of Man, is no longer classed as critical condition.
The 33-year-old from Lincolnshire was involved in a collision during the 600cc Challenge race on 12 July in which James Cowton died.
A Dafabet UK Devitt spokesman said Linton was now stable in hospital in Liverpool.
It is hoped he will be transferred to a Lincolnshire hospital soon.
Traders in Skegness agreed to stop selling inflatables after a spate of people being swept out to sea.

Lincolnshire farmers are calling for swift action from the government, with fears the hot weather could cause food shortages.
An emergency meeting is being held in London this afternoon, to discuss the ongoing dry weather.
Many farmers are dipping into winter feed supplies to keep livestock healthy and crops are also suffering.

The number of complaints about potholes on Lincolnshire's roads has tripled in three years.
Last year there were 23,000 reports of the road issues, compared with 7,000 in 2015.
Carr Lane in Broadholme was the most reported road, with 174 complaints in the year.
Heath Rd in Ashby De La Launde near Sleaford came second.
Lincolnshire Police have released figures of their work over the last week.
It includes numbers of arrests, number of people charged and the number of calls its received from the public.
This past week has seen 2328 999 calls made to the force.
It works out at 332 emergency 999 calls were received each day.

Changes to maternity and children's services at Boston Pilgrim Hospital come into force today.
It comes after weeks of concern over the future of services due to a shortage of doctors.
Hospital bosses have been working to bring in more staff and work out the best path of care for women and children.
The new interim plan will keep 98% of services currently operating at Pilgirm.
It will manage only low-risk neonatal births and other services will include a 24-hour assessment and observation unit and two private ambulances, which will be on stand by to transport high risk cases to other hospitals.
A busy junction in Scunthorpe is in need of a school crossing patrol.
North Lincolnshire Council had advertised for someone to help children cross the road safely at Berkeley Circle before schools broke up for the holidays but has been unable to appoint anyone.
Now the council is appealing for help to fill the vacancy before the summer is out.

A Lincolnshire police station, manned entirely by volunteers, is doing an open day today.
Activities at Market Deeping station will include mug shots, bike marking, station tours and fingerprinting.
It's to celebrate the station being able to re-open in April, after an appeal for members of the community to volunteer at the station.
Eight volunteers currently take turns running the station's front desk.,
They can receive reports of crime and deal with any other incidents that a paid employ at an inquiry office would deal with.

A company that wants to drill for oil near a village in Scunthorpe is expected to be given more time to remain at the site.
Egdon Resources has submitted plans to allow workers to stay at Lodge Farm near Wressle for a further 12 months, to give enough time for a fresh application for drilling to be heard.
Council officers have recommended that Egdon be given approval to remain at the site.
Campaigners opposed to the drilling have criticised the move saying the firm has been at the site for four years , externaland has had enough time to carry out its work.

An emergency drought summit to address the impact of the recent dry hot weather on farms across the UK is being held in London today.
Many farms haven't seen any significant rain since the end of May, which could affect the yields of some crops.
A potato farmer from Lincolnshire says he's gone through 18 months worth of water in just nine weeks to keep his crops growing.
He emptied his entire reservoir which he says has never happened before.
Many different groups will be coming together for the summit to discuss what can be done to help and support struggling farmers.
