    Nearly 200 workers lost their jobs at the bedding manufacturer earlier this week after it went into administration.

    The head of the trust which runs hospitals in Goole, Grimsby and Scunthorpe says he wants the organisation to be out of financial special measures by next year.

    Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals Trust was put into financial special measures in March 2017.

    It is forecast to have a £43.5 million overspend by the end of this year, £12m over the planned target.

    The chief executive of the trust, Dr Peter Reading, said the finances are beginning to stabilise.

    He said: "We're beginning to reverse the negative position and my timetable for getting out of financial special measures is next year."

    The trust is just one of four in the country to be in both financial and quality special measures.

    A teenager has been left with head and face injuries after being robbed of his bike in Cleethorpes, say Humberside Police.

    The 15-year-old was riding his bike down an alleyway between the cemetery and Trinity Road on Saturday evening when he was approached by two teenage boys who had their faces covered.

    Officers say one of the boys hit him then stole his bicycle.

    They're asking for anyone who might have seen the distinctive orange mountain bike to come forward.

    Tealby Primary discovered their bus was missing this morning, only for it to turn up destroyed in a field.

    Police are appealing for witnesses.

    Christa Haslam is the deputy headteacher of the school near Market Rasen.

    She says they used the bus to take children on trips.

    A person picked up two boxed drones and left the store without making any attempt to pay for them.

    The individual also threatened a member of staff at the store.

    The high-street butcher Crawshaws has collapsed into administration.

    The group, which has stores in Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Gainsborough, says 600 jobs are at risk across the chain after discussions with investors to raise cash failed.

    The Yorkshire-based business opened in 1954.

    It was a struggle for students at Tealby primary school near Market Rasen to get to classes today.

    Overnight their bus was stolen and the school posted photos of it on social media to try and help locate it.

    A man who organised the distribution of heroin and cocaine in Lincolnshire has been jailed.

    The group transferred drugs from Coventry into Grantham using a network of couriers, before sending them out across the county using a music promotions business Shireboy Events to hide their activities.

    During the investigation around a kilo of class A drugs were recovered.

    A "significant" quantity of cannabis and around £20,000 in cash was also found.

    The ringleader Jermain Alcide, 37, of West Street, Barkston, near Grantham, pleaded guilty on the fourth day of his trial at Lincoln Crown Court.

    He's been jailed for 16 years and two months.

    Support sessions are being held in Boston today to help former Fogarty workers.

    Staff from the Department for Work and Pensions and the local council will be on hand to answer questions and offer guidance.

    It's after the historic pillow and duvet firm unexpectedly went into administration on Monday afternoon.

    Up to 12 people can attend each session at the Municipal Buildings in Boston between 10:00 and 15:00.

    More than 30 affordable homes could be built near Lincoln's mosque.

    After being "highly commended" by the judges, it's now on display at the Natural History Museum in London and is set to go on tour around the world.

    The number of new houses needing to be built in Lincolnshire could be lower than previously thought, new figures suggest.

    The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has revised downwards the number of new households needed in the county over the next decade.

    Previously, the figure was about 1,000 a year - but that figure's now been revised by the ONS to about 900.

    The projections relate to central Lincolnshire, which includes Lincoln, Sleaford and Gainsborough.
